I don't expect Manny to fight Mosley at 147... he will be madly out weight and at a huge disadvantage... but this goes the same for Mosley to fight under 147, he will be weight drained and wont be the same fighter like DLH was... it seems like Shane is doing it just for the money.

Shane is a hypocrite, and a cheater.
He give mayweather **** for fighting JMM
but thinks ok to fight Pacquiao..

I will never give mosley credit for nothing.
just like i dont give margarito credit for nothing.

the double standards on these two is crazy.

IMO I hope Mayweather fight Mosley under the same circumstance Pacquiao is fighting Mosley ... since mosley is willing to fight at a handicap to make big fights.

we have a wiiner....noone's putting a gun to shane's head making him lose 3lbs

cotto is busy, berto just fought, he doesnt want any of PWill..and neither of those 3 can bring in the money that a PAC fight can...shane wants to cash out after a long and illustrious career

If I was DLH, I would have fired who ever was incharge of his nutrition. How he came in on fight night weighing less then Manny, is shocking (credit bad management of who was taking care of his nutrition)! Manny had to jump 2 weight class from light weight and he was fine. So that's not Manny's fault that he came into the fight better prepared then Oscar did.

exactly and to top it off if fraud jr. wasnt such a pu$$y, we would see fraud vs shane. thank you pac for having balls and not a **** like fraud and for giving shane his payday he deserves.

I still love the fact that Manny emphatically said, "Let's do it." But I wish it would be at 147. That would have added to his legacy, surely. No questions asked.
Shane is challenging Manny for the P4P Kingship and loads of Money. It is his obligation to go down in weight to do that and not the other way around.

Yeah, believe me I aint blaming Manny for it... I just don't think the fight is unfair both ways, at 147 its unfair on Pacquiao, at anything under is unfair on Shane.

I get what your saying, but all I am saying is do you think the catch weight will affect him and make him weight drained...

                    as well you should

However, it says at a catch-weight... and I am wondering how Shane will fair at anything under 147... in all honesty I cant see Shane being a healthy fighter at anything under 147 and I feel if the catch weight is too low he will be extremely dehydrated and weight drained.
as long as mosley starts rehydrating right away he won't be that bad, but he won't be peak, but given the size advantage a peak smm destroys pac. i'm sorry but mosley is simply too big.

He probably wont be as dehydrated as DLH was, but if they do a catch weight at around 143, I feel Shane will still be dehydrated and weight drained...
yeah, but without the catchweight pac has no chance

especially if his fight night weight has to stay at 143 like in the DLH fight...
actually dlh was 147 on fight night not 143.

I mean I know fighters manage to rehydrate there bodies by fight night and in Shane's case weight 155+ in a Welterweight fight... but if he has to weigh under 147 for this fight at the weigh-in then it could take a toll on his body and I don't think he will be fighting fit...
mosley would be ****** to weight under 147 lbs on fight night.

That's what I am thinking anyway, I know nothing has been finalized or signed yet... but it looks like its heading in that direction.
no, mosley will definitely not try to come in under 147 lbs on fight night
