Floyd Mayweather Jr: “Shane Mosley Blew His Chance”

Here you go again "Double Standard"..Did you apply this equation to PAC?? Did he fight the best at 135 or 147? But yet you praise him for beating an OVERRATED Hatton?? And people talking about Floyd tricking the public, Hatton is the one who pulled the wool over the eyes of a whole country!!
How long has Floyd been at 147? How long has Manny been fighting above 130? That is the difference. Manny is moving up and showing a willingness to fight Floyd, Cotto and Shane. Floyds only willing to fight for the biggest pay day. Its not even comparable.Comment

Oh boy. He hasn't fought the best fighters in any of those weight classes. When there are four belts per weight class, just winning one of those four belts, without fighting the best fighters in a division is wasting your talent, if you have the talent to be considered an ATG. The real ATGs fought the best, they didn't just go after trinkets. And now Mosley is universally rated at #1 at Welterweight, which is Floyd's weight class, and he says he doesn't want to fight him. If he doesn't want to fight the best he should stay retired.Comment

What willingness had he showed to fight either Cotto or Mosley? When did HE say he wanted to fight any of those fighters besides Mayweather?? Why not fight for the biggest payday? Who do you know works and doesnt want to get paid more??Last edited by handler000; 06-03-2009, 03:40 PM.Comment

So as a fan you don't want to see the toughest fights out there made? Or is it you would rather see a fighter make as much money as he can without taking on the best in his division? No fan of the SPORT would think like that, only a nuthugger.Comment
