In three of those five weight classes, his achievements were fairly meaningless. And he had the talent to achieve the status of being a great Welterweight, and/or a great Jnr Welterweight, but he pissed it away. That's a terrible waste of talent.

He went up to fight big money fights, are you a Calzaghe fan and have the nerve to criticize Floyd?

Mosley didnt blow his chance, fraud jr is just scared to fight mosley. theres no excuse why fraud shouldnt fight mosley, if fraud is a ppv draw then he will sell with any good name fighter.

Yet those 2 ppv sales did more than ALL of Cotto's PPV sales combined!!!

The real ATGs fought the best, they didn't just go after trinkets. And now Mosley is universally rated at #1 at Welterweight, which is Floyd's weight class, and he says he doesn't want to fight him. If he doesn't want to fight the best he should stay retired.
Here you go again "Double Standard"..Did you apply this equation to PAC?? Did he fight the best at 135 or 147? But yet you praise him for beating an OVERRATED Hatton?? And people talking about Floyd tricking the public, Hatton is the one who pulled the wool over the eyes of a whole country!!

He would be an exciting fight. This would be a big money fight for both guys. I don't know what Mayweather is talking about. It would be the type of fight that would warrent a rematch with even bigger numbers.
Newsflash!! Mosley hasnt been on his "A" game in years.. Do you honestly think beating a sitting duck like Margs puts him back on his "A" game? He wasnt even on his "A" game when he was on steroids and got a gift decision against DLH at 154.

In order for a fighter to sell tickets they have to be appealing and how do you appeal in boxing? Winning. So if the fighter is winning they must be good. Now you look at where Mayweather is at on the boxing ladder, way up there on the ladder. So he cant go cherry picking fighters who aren't known. So who do you pick? Fighters who ARE known. How are you known? By winning ALOT. Which equals, around the top of the boxing ladder.

So even if you cherry pick. At Mayweather's level, he is still fighting guys who are A+ material.

Boxing has a ton of fickle fans. So of course when Hatton lost they will shoot him down or say ODLH is shot and old but if Hatton or ODLH would have ktfo Mayweather, they would all be singing a different tune.
With all due respect, this is the biggest bunch of excuse making crap I've heard Floyd defended with in awhile. You can't call yourself the best welterweight without fighting the best welterweights. There is no way around it.
