Right now? Cotto, Williams, Vazquez, JuanMa, Kirkland, Pac, both Marquez brothers and a few others.

All time? Louis, Paz, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, Foster, Ali, M. Spinks, Holy, Morrison. I've got a lot of fighters I've been a fan of thru the years.

So if Cotto went to 168(his fifth weight) and beat Inkin rated 10th by The Ring respectively and say beat a titlest albeit not one of the best in that weight in Balzsay, rated 7th by The Ring, would you give him credit? Or do you just not see that about the same.

I don't care what weight class Cotto could be in. If he sat there for 3 years with the god given ability to compete with anyone in that division and decided to cherry pick for money, he'd incur my wrath too. I don't make excuse after excuse for fighters. I think they owe it to the fans who make them rich to fight the best fights.

I dont see it as the same, a pound for pound fighter who has moved up alot, I hold to different standards, sure Id like to see Floyd fight those guys and I think he will fight some of them, people act as if he is scared and to think that is kinda silly if you ask me. Its obvious he is trying to maximize earning potential in the fights he picks.

Floyd doesn't want to fight Mosley because he knows that Mosley has the style to beat him.If Mosley still is on his A Game, he could out point the defensive minded Mayweather. And we all know that if Shane gets behind on points in the fight, it makes him more aggressive and he will go after Floyd. He would be an exciting fight. This would be a big money fight for both guys. I don't know what Mayweather is talking about. It would be the type of fight that would warrent a rematch with even bigger numbers.

You have to think, even if you cherry pick fights you are still fighting top opponents. In order to get big money, you have to get a fighter that can sell tickets. In order for a fighter to sell tickets they have to be appealing and how do you appeal in boxing? Winning. So if the fighter is winning they must be good. Now you look at where Mayweather is at on the boxing ladder, way up there on the ladder. So he cant go cherry picking fighters who aren't known. So who do you pick? Fighters who ARE known. How are you known? By winning ALOT. Which equals, around the top of the boxing ladder.

So even if you cherry pick. At Mayweather's level, he is still fighting guys who are A+ material.

Boxing has a ton of fickle fans. So of course when Hatton lost they will shoot him down or say ODLH is shot and old but if Hatton or ODLH would have ktfo Mayweather, they would all be singing a different tune.

That is called greed, my friend. He's already rich. Would still make millions and millions fighting any welter out there. Its time to give back to the fans, the people who have made it possible for him to have as much money as he does.

Many rumblings that his finances arnt what many may think they are, I dont know what is in his account. Besides this is boxing, he has said for many years he will not let the sport retire him, who can blame anyone who thinks like that, he has his father and uncle to show as examples of what you dont want to become. If you can get 15 mil from fighting a Marquez, who is no easy task and throws every single punch hard, why not do it.

Floyd has plenty of money. Even if he didn't, who's fault is that? As a fan of this sport should I keep supporting his extravagant lifestyle by buying his PPV's? Should I continue to buy into his BS about being the best, without facing the best?

If you're a fan thats fine. To each, his own. Not me though. I call it the way I see it. And what I see is him talking a lot of smack while not backing it p by fighting the toughest fights, yet pulling the wool over many fans eyes and only taking the biggest paydays instead. Its actually sad considering how talented he is.

The mistake many often make is that its not like he hasnt taken risks, fighting guys his own size and some even bigger he has beaten them, I cant blame him for not fighting guys who will come into the ring weighing so much more than him, thats not what boxing should be about. Its should totally be based on skill but when youre fighting guys weighing so much more their lack of skill doesnt come into play as much because they are so much bigger. Had Floyd never showed his mettle at the lower weights Id be just as critical as the next guy.
