I already answered that question in another thread. I even think it was you who asked.
Ah well. The difference is that Kessler, besides being in a managerial dispute and in court, is not in position to call any shots since he's not the draw. He has called out every big name and travelled to the US 2 or 3 times last year in search for a fight but couldn't get any.
Floyd is in a position to basically pick who he wants. So the question is if you, as a boxing fan and not a Floyd-fan, are happy with the choices he has made for the past 3 years?
Well?Comment

Because unlike yourself, Im not just a message board warrior. Manny has been talking about his willingness to fight Shane, Cotto and Mayweather since the Hatton fight. Where the hell have you been?Comment

The difference is that Floyd can pretty much pick any opponent he likes. Even without the managerial dispute Kessler cannot.
So with the power and responibility Floyd has as being a superstar and boxing posterboy it would be real nice to see him against a live opponent.
Believe me that if Kessler could choose anyone I'd be hard on him if he'd choose Perdomo over Froch.Comment

2) He's a sure fire hall of famer but almost none of his fans claim he's an ATG. Are you going to admit that Mayweather isn't an ATG either? If not, GTFOOH with that analogy.
3) He didn't claim that Hopkins and Jones in their prime didn't deserve to fight him, which Mayweather has claimed about Mosley, Margarito, Cotto and Williams, to name but four - quite the reverse, he frequently called both of them out, around 2001-2002, and made a huge effort to get a fight with Hopkins in particular (see my sig). But he wasn't a big enough name for them to want the fight at that time, especially as he wasn't even in their division. And he dominated his own division. That's not at all analogous to Mayweather's record at Welterweight.Comment
