    that's a misconception.

people think the only advantage to size is overpowering their opponent. not true.

reach is very important. height is a factor. even if you don't use your weight , just being heavier is still an advantage.

Mayweather should approach Pacquaio the way he did DLH (Except for the 1st 5 rounds) land constant jabs to the body, right hand and keep it moving, slowly breaking him down, then jump on him around the 6 or 7th round.
JMM is a brilliant counter puncher but he is also a righty and I just dont see anyone hardly in history let alone right now that can hit a prime Mayweather clean. His D is to on point. I will say this though, if there is any righty that could do it then it would be JMM because he throws such precise punches and straight down the pipe but I still think it will be difficult. Ive always saild that there are only 2 ways to beat Floyd and that is to be way bigger to the point where all he can do is pot shot and move or be a Southpaw and just catch him with a blind shot. That goes to your point about Pac and I agree but I think there is a difference. Floyd came straight at Chop & Mitchell and showed them no respect. I wouldnt fight Pac like that and I dont think he will. Against Zab though, he did show alot of respect. He walked him down but he did it at a slower pace and with extreme caution. Thats how I think he will fight Pac. He will come in behing the high guard and slowly walk him down

Thats why the better skilled guy wins most of the time, you have to find ways to overcome things.

Exactly, they are always trying to bring up things as if no boxer ever won a match unless he was bigger, longer reach, etc.

I think it's a great matchup. no debate over the weight, it's just obvious that Mayweather is the bigger man in this matchup. Should be good **** though.

This fight is all about getting a fight with Pac ,,, JMM has given Pac big trouble , so its fair to assume if Pac can beat Floyd so can JMM ,,,,, if Floyd dominates JMM what does it say about the Pac fights , and remember that Pac weighed 147 fighting JMM and Juan was 143 thats real weight on the night ,,, 4 pounds is the difference you cant claim weight or Floyd using mass he dont have any he will use skills ,,, but I see now its a crime that Floyd for a change has reach and height a little his way and the junket boys whine about it , yet they want Floyd to fight Williams , unbelievable double standards .

                    he did.

but......being a bigger guy helped him handle tito's punches better than tito's 147 , 154 opponents. he used his size in a skilled way. turning tito , catching him with a long jab , in clinches and shouldering him off , etc.

                      being bigger doesn't mean much.

being bigger and using the size with skill......leads to great things.

                      poor tito......

i heard fight night at the tito-hopkins fight......unofficial weigh in was hopkins 192 lbs. and poor little tito was only 155.
