but......being a bigger guy helped him handle tito's punches better than tito's 147 , 154 opponents. he used his size in a skilled way. turning tito , catching him with a long jab , in clinches and shouldering him off , etc.

People don't know this, maybe they're not paying attention but Mayweather was very cautious of Zab's left uppercut (Which Pacquiao doesn't have) and Pacquiao left straight isn't nearly as fast as Judah's left straight. People tend to ignore that, they really do. What worries me, is that Pacquiao will get out of the way after throwing/ or landing a combination, Mayweather can't afford to lose mini second. Also Pacquiao is simply a mentally stronger fighter then Zab and way more consistent. Mayweather better be at his best, which I believe he will.

Not sure if I've noticed much decrease in speed from Marquez lately, but if that's true, how can you be certain it's due to weight gain and not his advancing age? After all he is 35 years old and they say speed is the first to go as you age as a fighter...

floyd can be hurt. i've seen him get hurt. he has a good chin but it's not granite like those guys.

Or it could be neither, every fighter doesnt look the exact same speed wise in every fight, depending on the opponent they may or may not put as much emphasis on speed in training camp.

jmm doesn't look good at 135 to me.

you're right it could just be age though but he looked sharp at 130 against manny last year.

against casa and juan he didn't look good.
