Thats the way I tend to look at it. I never understood all the grief that Lewis Hamilton got for living in Switzerland - He's off travelling the world racing for 9 months of the year. Its the same with tennis stars who live the tax haven life in Monaco - They're on tour for 11 months of the year so never use their home countries. Kessler is a tax exile in Monaco... I know I'd be doing the same if I was a boxer. The only people I have a problem with are the fat cats who work all week in the UK, running their UK based companies, but then bugger off at the weekend for that tax break.

The Great British reality is very different. People are rude, aggressive, and selfish and customer service in any such based job is shocking. When the Industrial Revolution took over Britain in the mid 18th Century, we became a hard working nation, desperate to be at the fore front of technology and new inventions. When Churchill and his soldiers won the Second World War, we were a proud nation, willing to sacrifice ourselves for our country - willing to fight to rid the world of evil tyrants and dictators hoping that it would secure a better future for their children and grand children.
If they seen a picture Britain in 2009 would they get up and fight? I doubt it. What were they fighting for?
Foreigners don't like us bearing any kind of Union Jack or England Flag, to support our Nationalism, they complain about everything that is British, leaving us with no traditions and very little culture to educate people with.Comment

at least on the mainland im guessing u guys vote for who u want to win the seat.
In NI its common practice to vote for the person u think has the best chance of beating the one u want to get elected least!
U think u guys have got it bad, we have a fundimentalist christian party (complete nutjobs) in coalition with *********s (complete scum). and they hate each other, and would happily kill each other if they could get away with it.
Talk about never getting anything done. they would argue with each other over what colour blue is just so they would be seen as to not agreeing with the "other side"Last edited by gingeralbino; 05-28-2009, 05:52 AM.Comment

That's the problem. It's terrible, but I'm not suprised more people are voting BNP these days. I don't agree with it, but i understand it, people are pissed off.

Fair play to him, boxing is a short career. You have to make as much money as you can while you canComment

I don't think people actually take the BNP seriously, they are only voting for them because they are disillusioned with the current system. The government are to blame for letting the country slip into the state it is today.
I'm all for foreign immigration to fill up lower paid jobs, but not at the expense of British workers. People always argue that British people dont want to do these jobs, but the millions of people in jobcentres up and down the country argue otherwise. We need to limit foreign immigration, and free up jobs for British workers. We need to make sure the welfare system is not abused, and we need to stop wasting tax payers money.
And if you want to live in Britain, you don't have to forget your past roots and religion, but you will damn well respect ours. I'm tired of hearing Polish, Pakistani, and African immigrants complain about our lifestyle. If you don't like it go back home.Comment
