Great Britain is no longer great.

    1. There is no incentive to do well in Britain, it's easier to sit on your ass and get government handouts for gas, electric, child care etc. What society are we promoting in this country?

    2. The only people that get a good deal in Britain are the very rich and the very poor, if you're anywhere in between, you're f**ked.

    3. Immigration is a joke, they recently had to fight hard in parliment to get the Ghurkas the rights to stay in the country, some of which have faught in wars for the British Army for over 20 years. Yet they let any other migrants in and give them a free car and allowance. It's all wrong.

    4. Politicians are just as incriminating as the scum that walks our streets. Most of them should be done for fraud and do jail time for the expenses scandal.

Great Britain is a joke. Don't move here.

Yeah life is so difficult. I'm middle class, and I only have a car, laptop, 40" hdtv, ps3, laptop, lots of nice clothes, a girlfriend, and a good student loan.

      How is the Daily Mail?

I'm a student, but I had no problems paying my rent, bills, and car off when I was in full-time employment from the age of 16-20. I had a decent job when I was 18 as a fabricator/steel worker.

Life is not as hard as people make out. A little sacrifice here and there goes a long way.

I 100% understand and support Froch in his decision. England is now a handout state, the system literally punishes the successful and uses the stolen "yes I say stolen because the taxes are so absurdly high, its blatant thievery" money to line the pockets lazy people who won't work for a living because they know they can exploit the situation and illegal immigrants who are treated better than the actual citizens.

That's just a myth. Immigrants aren't living in mansions driving Range Rovers. They are struggling like the rest of us.

I think one of the great things about this country is that we are willing to help out people from poorer countries, and give them jobs, housing, and a good way of life. However, it has gone too far.

And the percentage of the country which earns over £120,000 is very low. I have no problems with footballers, boxers, and F1 drivers being taxed at such a high rate. Most of the money they are paid is extortionate, and funded by the public anyway.

WTF?? Dude, no disrespect, you're a student, until you get into the real world with mortgage, children etc. You can't possibly comment. I was the same worked @ the age of 16-21, (that's not working by the way) rent didn't bother me.

I was the same as you, everything was easy, roof over my head, good with money, no debts, can afford to pay bills as a student.

Then i got into the real world, mortgages, council tax, pension contributions, investments for the future to secure a decent standard of living for retirement.

Take a look at child care as a prime example, 2-3 days a week nursery place ranges between £126 and £375 per week. So you basically have to work more hours just to pay for your childcare, if i didn't work I'd get that next to nothing. If I didn't work I'd get my gas/electric/water paid for, my boiler breaks down I get a cheque from the government to a replace it.

Wait until you get into the real world once you've stopped becoming a student, and you start paying that loan back, wanting to plan to buy your own home, pension contributions, council tax, income tax when you start earning a semi-decent wage, the list is endless.

I can understand why people like Hamilton,Haye and Froch would want to move and beat the high tax rate in our country and i dont blame them.

They are involve in a dangerous sport where one mistake can kill them, If people in the music industry like Sting,Elton john, Phil collins just to name a few can move to america just to escape the tax then why cant our boxers?

Yep, That was how i lived my life from 7 years ago, Am still paying back my University loan even now, Have got a 4 year old girl but wouldnt dare have another one because of the amount of money you pay for a childcare.

The day i finish university and got married was the day i was expose to the real world.
