It already happened bfore. Was Floyd ready for a rematch with Oscar before he retires?

And then after he fight Oscar for a reamtch, he wants another rematch with Hatton in Wembley?

Floyd never got the percentage and instead of fighting Cotto, Margarito, Williams and Mosley, he retired from boxing. now he came back to fight a 135 pounder.

Just a couple links confirming mayweather was looking in to a hatton rematch prior to pac-hatton being signed. these 2 articles from march & december 2008.

there's no denying the hypocrisy now, or atleast his motto of low risk & high reward.

Apart from about 60 million British people.

It would've been cool if Mayweather came to fight in the UK at 140 but I think that while he would've gave Hatton another shot it wouldn't have been in the UK nor would it have been at 140. It would've been in Vegas at 147 with Bayless playing the part of Cortez.

Interesting that article says that Hatton will fight again. I hope he does but I hope he's smart about who he chooses to fight.

There's no way to spin this. If Floyd's mentality is one that fighting Marquez and then a Hatton rematch is sufficient (even if it was dependent on Hatton winning), I doubt he has much more on his mind than being a big name with a lot of money.

That's the thing about Pacquiao- when he fights, it looks like he really enjoys being in the ring. For Floyd, he's gifted but boxing is just another day at the office. I don't know that he's really passionate about the sport anymore.

co-sign, he had the passion to get to the top, once there he lost passion imho, it was solely about money,

                Ok, then this explains everything.

Floyd thought that Hatton was going to beat Pacquiao.
Floyd thought he was going to get another easy fight with the chinny albino from the UK. Plan 1 fails.

Pacquiao is a soutpaw, both Corley and Judah were southpaws.
Corley rocked Floyd twice and Judah who is not that good, knocked Floyd down. I am not sure Floyd will take the Pacquiao fight.

And now we have Mosley and Cotto still in the loom. Does anyone think that Floyd will fight Mosley or Cotto? I seriously doubt it.

Floyd will fight Marquez and then make up some excuse, like my hands are shot, I don't love the sport anymore, the dog ate my list, etc..

                Looks like Floyd's plan backfired
