I think you're completely missing my point. I could care less about fame and fortune. Sugar Ray Leonard fought to be great and the fame/fortune not only followed but still endures to this day. All great athletes share a common attribute, a constant need to prove themselves over and over again. I could care less about a man wearing a diamond earring and driving a Bentley, you want to impress me? Earn a degree at a 4 year university, not a community college, that impresses me, speak in an articulate manner. (By the way I'm not aiming that at you--I'm speaking in generalities)

You think when Floyd stops fighting, anyone will care? You think he'll get sprite commercials? The guy can barely speak coherent english. The one commercial he was in, he had no speaking lines.

I'm not impressed by Floyd's riches at all and that's why I don't
hate him for what he does because to me it is not personal.
I think he is a very talented fighter that can potentially beat
every fighter if he brings his A game to the ring and I think
we all know that. I understand that everyone wants to see
him fight the best at 147 and I do to and he's back to cover
all bases from what I can see because I think he is reading
the chat boards and hearing the bad talk about him because
he brought up some points in the ESPN interview that people
keep saying. I don't agree with you that people will forget
him because when he was retired NO ONE could stop talking
about and everytime a article was posted about Floyd the thread
went off. I am curious to see if Mosley/Cotto has what it takes
to handle Floyd. Frankly I feel like they will bring a Mayweather
out that no one has seen yet so yes I do what to see him fight
the best. My point of view of him is from a talent and ability
stand point and for the record I don't agree with people putting
the blame on Floyd for fights like Mosley and Cotto not happening
because last I checked and it is documented in Boxing history
that he wanted Cotto and Mosley and both opted no to fight him
so how is Floyd perceive as a Fraud or a ducker for not fighting
them now when he wanted them before?

Floyd isn't running from Mosley and its well documented that this fight could have taken place quite some time ago. They are businessmen and Mosley realizes fighting Floyd means $$$ in comparison to other fighters. On the otherhand, Floyd stands to make much more $$$ against other fighters and he is in the driver's seat so Mosley will have to wait his turn. And we all know ego plays a huge role so both men want to be in the chief negotiating spot. Mosley should fight Pwill, win and put himself in a better bargaining position not to mention more hype for a showdown with Floyd. Floyd will fight Pac next, win and the next opponent will make mega $$$ regardless of who it is. Its all business and politics...

The only thing documented in boxing history is that Fraud jr. fought henry brussells,gatti, & demarcus corley @ 140 instead of Hatton, Kostya Tszyzu, Cotto, vivian harris, junior witter, kendall holt, & ricardo torres.

@ 147 he fights baldomir, judah, hatton, & sharmba mitchell instead of mosley,margarito, paul williams, collazo, cintron, clottey, quintana, & miguel cotto.

It doesnt matter what worthless article says who ducked who, THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS HE DIDNT FIGHT THOSE GUYS.

I have to bring this up, people rag on Floyd all day but look at
it from this aspect. Floyd has been fighting almost before he
could walk and was the best at a young age. The kid has displayed
amazing ring generalship and abilities in the ring. People say Floyd
ducked Margarito and Mosley but look at them, Mosley took Steroids
the second time to beat Oscar and still lost in peoples eyes and at
that time Floyd Sr was training Oscar. People ridiculed Floyd for not
taking on Margarito but look at what happened, dude cheated with
an illegal substance in his gloves? Why should these guys even be
mentioned as X's throughout Floyd's straight and dominating career?
Floyd did everything with his talent and swagger, not once did he
have to resort to any enhancements. I give Miguel Cotto more
credit them Mosley/Margarito in regards to fighting fair. My point
is this, Floyd has said and done many things throughout his career
but one thing he didn't do is play himself out unprofessionally and
kept it official. I'm not with beating down a man's career just because
he says that he is the best. Moselys a great fighter and tough as
nails but to say he is ahead of Floyd respect wise is crazy considering
the fact he is a known cheater. I really hope they do get it on
and settle their long time beef.

See that's what I'm saying, your just seeing things how you want
to see them because you want to discredit Floyd. At 140 Floyd
wanted to unify the titles with Ricky Hatton and Hatton didn't
want it and Arum said Cotto wasn't ready, am I right or wrong?
All this is documented in the Sport of Boxing and can be looked
up at any giving time. People may argue that Hatton wanted Floyd
at 140 but if that was the case Floyd wouldn't have gave up the title
and went to 147 for bigger game. Hatton was the man at 140 and after
the Gatti fight he didn't want and neither did Cotto and you know
what's the most defining proof? BECAUSE THEY WERE BOTH THERE.
Even Jim Lampley said "Miguel Cotto is sitting in the crowd and could
be floyd's next oppnent, but after this may want to think about it"
Come on man, stop hating and seeing things your way and just
acknowledge some facts and truth once in awhile instead of bashing

happen because floyd was with HBO and Tszyu was with Show time,

no doubt Fraud jr is talented. Nobody is denying him that. Even I have never said fraud jr cant fight or he sucks or he doesnt have talent.

My whole point is being talented & being undefeated is not a true barometer for greatness. It has to be proven, validated, over & over again vs other great fighters. Anybody can be undefeated & look otherworldly vs the right opposition.

Lamar Odom can be the greatest baller in the Chinese basketball Association.


Ive asked u this before, name me the greatest fighter Fraud jr has ever faced. U said Diego Corrales. Some people say 35 year old Oscar. Some might point out Jose Luis Castillo.

PBF did call out Mosley back then and was ignored....having said that Floyd shouldn't be fighting catchweight bouts when Mosley, Berto or Pwill are available...JMM is my favourite fighter after PBF but he's a lightweight.
