Floyd called out Mosley again in 2003 and 2005.
Mosley is the one who has talked himself out of fights with Cotto, Clottey and Berto. He lost to Cotto and then beat Margarito, who sucks, so I see no way he proved that he deserves a fight with Floyd. Floyd should fight Pac.

    • [QUOTE=Brandish;5359875] remember oscar de la hoya was only 34 and look at the **** floyd got for beating oscar, even idiots like yourself said he cherry picked oscar and oscar was past prime. how is a victory over shane more important at 147 then a victory over oscar at 154 when oscar was champion.

You have a point about the Oscar fight. No matter who Floyd fights and defeats, the haters will always have an excuse or something negative to say. When he beats Marquez, they will say Marquez was too small. When he beats pacquaio, they will say Pacquaio was too small. When he beats Mosley, Mosley will be too old, even though he is not too old now. When he beats Cotto, they will say Cotto had been in too many wars and had nothing left. The hating will never end no matter what he does.

Who is really the real *****? Floyd
That is the question that always comes on my mind whenever Mayweather Jr. talks trash to everyone etc etc.

You also have a point OT(that happens a lot w/ PAC when he wins). But i greatly disagree w/ you about Cotto!! If Mayweather "No Cotto" Jnr. beats Cotto SATISFACTION Guarantied everyone will respect PBF handsdown! If he will fight and not avoid Cotto that is.........

                Double standard statement...
Pacman always get those remarks whenever he whoops somebody's @ss....
Prior to every Pac's fight, they are already writing him off... examples are, against DLH, Hatton...
Jr, will never fight Pacman... he's afraid that a little man will whoop his black and smelly @ss...

I fell ya but then we go back to the "Mayweather fought the smaller guy again". Everyones calling for Pac but its the SAME people who keep saying Mayweather fights the "SMALLER" guys..... Isnt Pac "smaller"?

                  It should be:
                  Pac vs JMM III
                  Cotto VS Marg-a-cheato II
                  Mayweather VS Mosley

                  Go from there.

                  • I think mosley/floyd will happen eventually, but mosley might have to fight berto to stay active. hopefully berto/urango will give berto some confidene and swagger back.

I'd also bet the house that you're views are in the minority, and that most people would like to see this fight happen. If it doesn't, Floyd needs to fight Cotto, Pac, or god forbid challenge himself against Paul Williams (awaiting any excuses you may have as why he shouldn't). No one "hates" your favorite fighter, in fact they are waiting for his indelible talent to make it's way to his heart. Mayweather's talent deserves to be tested, his gifts deserve to be tested, when a man is blessed with such gifts he can either choose to inspire people with those gifts, or drive them away; he has chosen the latter.

Just a footnote: When you reference Mosley's age of being 38, as being a legitimate reason why this fight shouldn't happen? Remind everyone else as well as yourself, that your favorite fighter is fighting a man who is 37 years old and considered a tuneup fight.
Shane Mosley indeed dismantled Antonio Margarito but in
all seriousness Margarito has always been an overrated bum
Who needed to cheat to win.
