There is shame in being outclassed by the best of an era.

At least he fought them, what do you want him to do, stay in manchester beating jon thaxtons then claiming to be an atg like calzaghe?
That what I'm saying he stepped out the U.K. and got EXPOSED. PBF and PAC EXPOSED him as not even belonging in the same ring. Collazo got robbed,Lazcano got robbed by the phantom shoelace ref call. Hatton NEVER beat a world class fighter in his prime.

Yeah, but he was world class imo, come on now, he's not the league of Mayweather Jr, or Manny pacquaio, but that just means he's not a legend.

Most boxing writers gave the Collazo fight to Hatton, it was close but to call it a robbery is ******.

He beat Lazcano 12-0, 12-0, 10-2, was toally recovered by the time Lazcano was warned and wouldn't have been stopped in a month of sundays shoelace or no shoelace.

Hardly any fighter in the history of boxing has beaten a true Prime Elite, in the modern era you can count them on one hand, if that is what a hype job is then the list is both long and distinguished.

Name another two weight world champion who has held the Linear and Ring belts for 5 years who is considered a hype job? Was Corrales a hypejob? Barerra? how about Morales?

          Hater much?

Point being he NEVER beat even a PRIME good fighter. Collazo beat him and Collazo is O.K. not great, he faded vs Urango who is O.K.,Sorry Lazcano had him out if not for the ref...go re-watch it...

Bottom line a world-class fighter supposedly in his prime doesn't get beat like a drum like he did vs Pac and PBF if he was world-class.

Malinaggi is a prime GOOD fighter, Collazo is prime GOOD fighter, Urango is a prime GOOD fighter, Magee was a prime GOOD fighter.

Collazo DID NOT beat Hatton, MOST people agree is was a close fight that Hatton won on the KD, Lazcano DID NOT come close to KO'ing Hatton, I HAVE watched the fight, multiple times, he WAS recovered before Lazcano was warned. he was warned 10 seconds BEFORE the fight was stopped for the lace.

Hatton lost 1 round against Urango, ONE Fcuking round, get a fcuking grip.

It easy to make Hatton's record look good when you hide behind the belts he won, He beat Urango who was a 17-0 novice someone who a journalist said he couldnt even shadow box and i quote "i saw Urango shadowbox and yes the shadow won"..

Carlos Maussa- Enough said another one of those easy-picking for another easy belt.
Collazo- another one of those easy picking who turnout to be better than Team Hatton thought.
Castillo-Shot to pieces, trying to pay off his debt
Luazcano- a former lightweight who previously beaten before facing hatton

And the fight i would actually give him credit for Paulie M..

All those fight were all easy picking after he fought Tsyzu...He was never the best boxer in the UK but he got all the credit in the world over here when the real skilled boxers like Joe Calzaghe didnt.

Juan "Loser" Lazcano almost dropped that fool.

Was Ricky just a British Hype Job?
Its possible that he was because whenever he faught top World fighters, he lost. So, its definately possible that he was a hype job.
