It's the reason Floyd picked him when he was called out. Floyd don't just fight anyone. Floyd has been so lucky that I think he has a contract with Satan with all these sorry old bums who had belts or were champions at the time Floyd was making his moves.

Hatton was a world class fighter, had wins over some good fighters, Paulie, Urango- which is quite impressive seeing how dangerous he has become at 140, Collazo was contraversial but he got the W.

Hatton was never the same fighter after Mayweather spanked him, that was his punch resistance gone out of the window right there, he was systematically broken down for several rounds, inside and out, that can be just as damaging if not more than a single punch ko.

He fought the best of his era and got found out, but at least he fought the best, he was good for british boxing and gave us 2 of the biggest fights in many years.

He avoid anyone that move/dance in the ring because of Warren and the moment he left Warren he was expose to a different world of fighter.

I agree. I think he was shielded away from that kind of fighter to. The only Boxer i can think of that he actually fought early in his career was Freddie Pendleton, but Pendleton was OLD and he has lost a lot fights albeit pulled of upset occasionally.

No need to kick the man when he's down. Hatton is a good fighter, he just got beat by 2 cats that were better than him.

are u saying if sum1 gets KOed by sum previous opponent, the punch resistance of the one who got KOed vanishes?

can u clear it for me sir?

Im saying Hatton's ablity to take effective punches pretty much finished after that fight with mayweather.

He had everything taken out of him.

My opinion, although im happy to consider other points of view.

so are u saying hatton suffered a meldrick taylor syndrome?

im a bit unsure of this theory man...

bcoz darchinyan got pasted by nonito donaire & just came back more powerful than his previous version...

duran too... after being cut in half by hearns...

u think cotto's ability to take punches has suffered too after his tussle with marg?

Hatton's punch resistance was gone before the Mayweather fight, if he ever really had any. Collazo hurt him pretty bad in the 12th. He got hurt by Urango. A shot Castillo didn't touch him, but then Floyd KO'd him. He clearly got buzzed a couple times by a journeyman in Lazcano, and while of course Paulie couldn't hurt him (honestly Paulie couldn't hurt most of us), you saw what Manny did.

Hatton is a good fighter, but he is certainly over rated here in the UK.

errr.. enough with that punch resistance thingy, proving that theory with comparing how their "punch resistance" deteriorate one fight after another makes you ****** . its pretty annoying, cut that pls ...
