I've seen most of his fight, nah he's not overrated, boring, a bad boxer or anything like that. He was a world class fighter, with an exciting style (watch some of his pre Kostya fights for proof). The problem with him though is after the Kostya fight he pretty much abandoned his boxing skills and thought he could out muscle his opponents. Plus I reckon he peaked about 4 or 5 years ago.Comment

why is everyone saying "hatton got ruined on the mayweather fight" Are you kidding? no he didn't, he looked extremely impressive against feather fist.
and for all you pacman and mayweather fanboys, why would you say hatton is overrated? So your telling me that a win over hatton is not impressive at all, cuz he is overrated. Thats pretty much what your saying...Comment

I certainly don't think so. You\re speaking as if Hatton lost every round 10-8 and was destroyed in a fashion similar to Gatti, which is not the case. He fought more or less on even terms with Floyd during the first 6 rounds and then started losing the rounds clearly. I mean even the knockout was sudden, whereas against pacquiao it was clear the boy was gonna get stopped.Comment

To me it was quite obvious after hatton barley survived round 8 the fight was over.
Mayweather systematically broke him inside then out. Especially on the inside, he was using forearms, rolling in with rights, bodywork, the lot.
He was never on even terms with floyd but for about 1 round, thats just lederman's horrific scoring.Comment
