Dawson wins easy. Calslappy comes in as he always does throwing a million inaccurate slaps that hit Dawson on the arms. Trying to steal a victory with workrate. Dawson counters him all night long. Landing the harder more accurate shots like Hopkins did. He is not 40 years old and has the stamina to put an end to the amazing slapping Welshman.

It would be close for the first two rounds, and then Calzaghe would simply outwork him, and make Dawson look silly as he tires. real recognizes real. Calzaghe UD 10-2.

Yeah I like Dawson, he did it the hard way against tarver but he gets the job done at the end of the day!

Do not base your decision on Dawson's performance against Tarver. Tarver and Calzaghe are 2 totally different boxers. Styles make fights.

Chad is good, but only in spurts. He isn't consistent. Regardless, I do think he'd be quite competitive if he fought JC, he just wouldn't beat him. I always said the same thing: if you can't KO Joe Calzaghe, you'll lose. Simple as that. Chad Dawson does not have what it takes to seriously hurt or KO Calzaghe. Combined with his inconsistency, Joe badly disrupts his rhythm and wins on points by a convincing margin.

For people to say that Joe "ducked" a prime Jones or Hopkins is ludicrous because Joe never was in a position to be able to pressure either into the ring and when he finally was able to, the fights were easily made! So who was "ducking" who...

Roy Jones and Hopkins both put Joe on the floor, and you are telling me Chad can't hurt or K.O. him. Jones and Hopkins are both well past it. If Dawson put him down he would not let him off the hook. Calzaghe gets knocked out.

Not really. I see what you mean based on his activity, but Hopkins had a nightmare style for Calzaghe, and IMO he beat him without having to knock himdown multiple times or finishing him. Be that as it may Dawson does not have the accuracy of Hopkins, and he tires even when he isn't being forced to fight to hard i.e. last night. Calzaghe would beat on Dawson.

Then why does Chad Boreson fade late in every fight he's in? When Boreson fades late Joe will "slap" him into submission!
