pac's body frame is not made for 147.he's not a legit WW. besides, pac has all the aces ryt now and everybody wants to fight him. if he commands that cotto fights him at a catchweight below 147, so be it. cotto has the choice to accept it or not.
btw, i doubt if cotto will accept a fight with paul williams at WW considering williams' big advantage over him.

No no no, just because Pac is the man right now does'nt mean that Cotto isn't the man. Cotto is the WW Man, Pac is the JWW man, Cotto doesn't have to obey nobody's command because he is not chasing him around, Cotto said that he WILL fight Pac, not that he wants to fight Pac, big difference, and before they asked Cotto about the possible fight wit Pac they had asked Pac's camp before anything. Cotto will come in 10 lbs heavier. Cotto is at his best at 147, Pac at 140. A compromise has to be made. We all know the reason why Pac/DLH was at 147, and most in this forum do not give credit Pac for that win.

In case you haven't noticed this is what boxers do. The weights for both fighters has to be at or below the agreed limit at the weigh-in. Don't act dumb you know this. Thereafter, the majority of the fighters balloon up around 10 lbs, others more and others less. Take Pac for example: in his last 2 fights his fight night weights were both at 148 but 142 and 138 in the weigh in for both DLH and Hatton, respectively. If Pac accepts to fight Cotto at 147 most likely he'll come in at around 148 while Cotto will most likely be around 158. That is because Cotto is naturaly bigger. Do you think this is a fair scenario??? Realize that this is probably Pac's (8th?) weight division from where he started, Cotto's I'm not sure. Do tell me.
