Mayweather vs. Pavlik or JMM vs. Mayweather. Equally (un)fair?

weight on the other hand should not be considered unless its at an extreme. like if one fighter is a fat ass and the other is really cut. other than that, weight isn't at all considered in a fight for me.Comment

Your post represents a fundamental misunderstanding regarding the body weight percentage and toll of weight gain from lower to heavier weights.
Apparently DLH v Pac and Pac v Hatton were not fair in your book either, and we saw what happened there.
Stop trying to discredit Floyd for fighting a great fighter and give other guys the pass.
Maybe I have a fundamental misunderstanding regarding the body weight percentage and toll of weight gain from lower to heavier weights. So there is a major difference between going from 135 to 145 as compared to going from 147 to 158? Howcome?Comment

don't put words into my mouth. I consider height and reach as an attribute just like boxing skill, power and speed. I don't consider them unfair but obviously those should be considered when comparing fights. if you're going to consider height and reach as unfair, than you might as well consider the difference in skill, power and speed as unfair.
