As much as I HATE this fight I may as well give an early prediction:

@ 140, Pacquiao wins by early KO
@ catchweight, Pacquiao wins by mid to late TKO stoppage
@ 147, I see it going either way, with both fighters sustaining damage.

Knocking out Cotto is no big deal.. Id be alot more impressed if Pac-man ko'd the winner of JMM/Mayweather. Jmm and Mayweather have never been ko'd!!!

I've been watching Manny since he whup Berreras ass a back in 04 and I have been watching Cotto since he fought the italian guy from NY with the crazy last name (magnillali or some **** like that). At a catch weight its a toss up, I can't understand why you guys feel cotto would be an easy targert for pacquiao and I am tired of hear people say "oh he is bigger bla bla bla" hatton was not bigger than pac they where they same in fact pac was half in taller.
At 140 I give the advantage to Pac and at 147 to Cotto, So it makes mores sense at a catch weight for it to be 50/50.

Cotto is a very smart and patient fighter, unlike hatton who is just a bull and a brawler. Manny is a very smart fighter and very skilled also.
How can you say that koing cotto is not big deal since he has never been kod? If you count the fraud plasterito then your no fan of boxing in my opinon. Cotto was wuping plasteritos ass by points until the effects of the plaster hitting his face caught up with him.

This fight would be exciting and I would pay for it. I dont see a problem with it. JMM and PBF are at a catchweight so this fight could be at the same catchweight then winner could face eachother next year.

I also love the way, 1 year ago this was mentioned and it was deemed murder but now Pac handles Hatton and walking dead DLH and a lot of people are favouring pac against a prime WW whos only loss he was beaten up with plaster (Margarito used plaster for that fight - anyone who says otherwise is just in denial - I'm not even a massive Cotto fan). Cotto has beaten Mosely, KOed Quintana and if he beats Clottey I can't see how anyone would favour pac at all.

Pac is afraid to fight legit WW at 147

He fought DLH at 147 and now freddie roach sd they will fight at a catchweight limit? C'mon!! there's no way cotto will fight at 140 or a catchweight! Dont see SSM or cotto doing that! Roach knows fighting at 147 is a huge risk getting PAC hurt! PAC should stay at 140 and forget 147 unless he plans to weigh in at 147.

this fight should happen at 147 theres no reach difference and just 1/2 " in height adv to cotto.. i say 147 manny looked impressive at that weight cotto cant fight below 147 it just dont make sense...
