In England he might have that, but after today, he won't be the main event unless he beats someone significant. Like PBF or PAcman or JMM.

He should fight Juan Diaz, Nate Campbell or Casamayor.

Paper Tiger my ass. typical bull**** being said after a fighter loses.
He was a very very good fighter, just not truely great. Does that mean every fighter thats not gonna be a top 30 ATG is ****? I dont think so.

There is a middleground between **** and greatness. Hatton fought pretty much all (bar Witter) the top fighters that he could. And he had the guts to do it outside of his own backyard. Boxing would be better of if every fighter was willing to do what he did.

Paper Tiger because of all the hype. Deflated in 2 rounds.

Then there is the terrified running from Luis Collazo who caught him bad in the twelfe round, hatton ran and held on for the rest of the fight.

As a Brit Ive seen all Hattons fights and other than the two old men of Tszyu and Castillo (took a dive imo) Hattons record is painfully average at best.

He caught him several times on that chin. JMM was caught, but he got up and rallied back, learned from his mistakes.

Agreed, Hatton would never be anything less than a main event fighter.

Must have been really tired after running for such a long period of time

Yeah cos Castillo was known as a the type of fighter to take a dive wtf? Shot hell yeah, dive, hell no.

He was much better than average, just not great.

There's no point in arguing that, he's favored and adored in England. But in the US, I believe he's fought 3 times. MAyweather, Maligininni, and Pacman. Mayweather and Pacman top in thier class. Maliginini overrated with a great promoter, that's it; he has no power.

Hats off to Hatton, but unless he makes a comeback, he's done.

I think he should fight Juan Diaz. Both just came off a loss to great fighters.

and they both have the same style.

It will be a great fight.
