Hats off to Hatton, but unless he makes a comeback, he's done.

I think he should fight Juan Diaz. Both just came off a loss to great fighters.

and they both have the same style.

It will be a great fight.
You sir.....are an enormous FAIL. Hatton won a welterweight belt from Luis Collazo, and defended his 140lb belt successfully against Juan Urango and Jose luis Castillo in the US.

It has become blatantly obvious that he will never be the best fighter lb. for lb. but i would still favor him over any other current 140lb belt holder or top contender not named Pacquiao, Mayweather or Marquez.

from the time he got the title, Hatton fought either current or ex champions with the exception of Lazcano

he had a four fight stretch where he was fighting for a different portion of the four belts in each fight (Tszyu, Maussa, Collazo and Urango) and fought for either a major belt or the Ring belt since his win over Tszyu

not bad for a paper titleist

Urango, Castillio, Collazo. and some bums called Alvarez and Quiros back when he was starting out.

            FAIL.

A Floyd Mayweather that doesnt study his opponents prior to a fight. He studies his opponent during the fight.

1st.) Not bad because he sees how a boxer acts and reacts against him during that match and doesnt assume how he should fight or has fought in the past.

2nd.) He wears them out then attacks or counters, which also slows them down.

                  Fail??????
Probably me. How about Teddy Atlas's Comments on Hatton on ESPN. He said Hatton's a one-dimensional fighter, that has not improved even with Mayweather, Sr. on his corner. On the other hand Pacman is beast who keeps on getting smarter and faster.

Hatton beat a worn out, past prime Castillo. You want PROOF. Look at what Castillo was able to do to Mayweather. He set the blueprint on how to beat him. He lasted 12 rounds and lost, even though many thought CASTILLO should have won that fight!!!!!

Harold Lederman of HBO had it-115-111 for Castillo.

All the announcers, including Foreman had Castillo ahead.

                  The Punch Stats:

                  Castillo Mayweather

                  203 Thrown 157

                  506 Landed 448

                  40% Percentage 35%

                  Power Punching Stats:

                  Castillo Mayweather

                  173 Landed 66

                  377 Thrown 151

                  46% Percentage 44%

The audience booed the decision while Jim Lampley mentioned that he didn’t know what fight they (the Judges) were watching. He said it wasn’t the first time a decision like this was handed out. I knew it wouldn’t be the last. This is what happens in the absence of a legitimate National Boxing Commission. The Judges are obviously paid by the promoters who tell them how to score the fight regardless what actually happens in the ring.

Personally I think he was somewhat of paper tiger like Maliginini. Look at the fighters they have fought and how they did against their opponents.

Oscar De La Hoya: vs. Mayweather, Full 12 rounds and fought him well.
DLH vs. Pacman 6 rounds, something was wrong with his performance, due to weight, but he lasted 6 rounds.

JMM: vs. Pacman 2 fights, both went 12 rounds, both fights could have gone either way. To date JMM is Pacman's toughest opponent. But JMM's level of boxing makes him one of the top fighters.

                      Now let's look at Hatton.............

Hatton vs Mayweather: 10 Round TKO. Yeah it took MAyweather a while, but he did it none the less.

Hatton vs. Lazcano: terrible fight for the Hitman. One of the later rounds Lazcano, almost KO, probably TKO, if it wasn't for the recovery time given to him because of his shoe laces. He got plenty of time to recover. He was saved by that. It's on youtube if you dont believe me, look at it first, then comment.

Hatton vs Paul Maliginini: Paper Tiger vs. Paper Tiger. Maliginini is overrated enough said. Now it looks like Hatton is under the same category.

Hatton vs. Pacman: 2 rounds. KTO. *JMM went down 3 times in round 1 and rallied back, like never before. *Dehydrated DLH took a whooping at least lasted for 6 rounds.

In conclusion, the hype is completely OVER for Hatton. Not saying he's a sorry boxer, he's not just in the top boxers category. Maybe Juan Diaz and Hatton should fight?

Juan Diaz vs. Hatton would be a great fight!!!!!!!!!
no one fought well in that fight. they both killed boxing.
