Hopkins already said he would never fight Dawson because he doesn't want to defeat a rising undefeated star. Seeing as how he had no problem fighting Pavlik and now Froch, kinda makes you wonder, eh?

Well I thought that Johnson edged that one out, most of Chads punches hit his guard all night and Glen had Bad Chad on wobbly legs there for a bit. But it looks like Dawson's heading to SMW where the action seems to be stirring up these days. And last I heard, Johnson was in talks with Adamek.

I may be wrong but it seems that Hopkins is only interested in fighting opponents that have little more then a punchers chance against him. And the fact that he has never been stopped means that even that is not much of a chance. But, who knows maybe he will stick around for one to many fights and and get KOed by the likes of Froch. After all it will not be the first time it has happened in the long storied history of boxing.

Its a win win situation for all fans.Calzaghe (and UK fans) fans will point out how tough and legitimate a win over Bernard was at the time and Americans will point out that you don't have to be a prime fighter to beat a guy like Carl Froch. I see it as a good medium for the sport for the fans and a good oppurtunity for Froch to further his name-even a loss on a record can improve Froch's resume,so long as he makes it entertaining (which it would be).
