Lets be honest. He draws people because he talks a great game. He hypes himself up to be something very good. He also talks about how much better he is than his opponents. If he did not have such a big mouth would he be in such high demand? People watch Mayweather to see him get knocked out because of his attitude.

It's no secret Floyd relies on his character or "persona" to sell his fights more than his actual performance which in itself is great to watch...if you're a purist in the world of analyzing Boxing. The reality is Floyd doesn't have too much of a fan pleasing style.

You can ask yourself this very question, if you replace Floyd Mayweather's persona say with Miguel Cotto's, would people be very eager to see Mayweather fight based solely on how he fights?
