See, the thing with guys like DLT, Malcom/Flawless, etc..they somehow "know" exactly what Floyd is planning. As if they have access to the Mayweather camp email or some ****.

"Oh, after this fight Floyd is going to fight Mosley or Cotto so stop with this BS"

Then he doesnt fight them and say, he'll go after Hatton for a rematch. Then it turns too...

"Well, a rematch with Hatton is OBVIOUSLY a tougher fight than Mosley and Cotto. Hatton has the capability to beat both of them so this is a better fight. I dont understand why everyone is hating on Floyd"

or Floyd chooses to fight Barrera and it turns too

"Since when has Barrera been washed up? He gave Kahn hell and is obviously still a threat!"

Moral of the story is, you guys will NEVER question what Floyd does. No matter how ridiculous his decisions are, you guys will ALWAYS find a way to warp facts and stats to justify the stupdity.

The guys in his same division. They clearly look like there atleast 2 divisions over him naturaly
Yeah, Floyd is a small Welterweight. The smallest of the bunch.

So why not cut down to 140, where he probably belongs, and fight Marquez there? Instead of making him tack on extra pounds when we're not even sure how he can manage with the boys at 140 yet because he hasn't even had a fight there yet.

So why doesn't Floyd just leave WW then? Since he's clearly so outsized by his fellow WW's?

Because then he couldn't force people to add on extra weight that would benefit him on fight night.

So if Floyd is CLEARLY not a WW, CLEARLY 2 divisions SMALLER than the WW's,

WHY THE **** DOES FLOYD WANT TO FIGHT A SMALL LIGHTWEIGHT AT THE WELTERWEIGHT LIMIT?

This is the definition of a "strawman".

There is no comparison between Mayweather fighting Marquez at 144 or 145, to Pacquiao jumping up from 135 to fight the walking corpse of Oscar De La Hoya.

If Oscar had been Oscar that night, Manny's brains would've been scrambled.
youre only saying that because Oscar was a natural 154 pounder but Floyd isnt. He's a WW and he's not even that. Thats why the Pac fight looked so bad. Oscar had been at 154 for a million years and was even huge at that weight. Floyd has only been at WW, not for nearly as long as Oscar was at 154, and Floyd actually basically fights at the weight limit. He doesnt put on 15 pounds like Oscar. Youre right that its not comparable. This fight is much closer then that. Thats my point

You mean that wasn't Oscar up there? Who was it? Was it that guy who looks like Oscar and has been seen wearing fishnet stockings

Was this the impostor who was up in the ring with Manny tha night?
No wonder Manny beat the snot out of him
                :fight:

                  EXACTLY.

If he ain't a Welterweight, then get the fuck out of the division.

Go down to 140, where your ass belongs, and fight the Hatton's and Marquez's, and the Pacquiao's in their weight classes.

                  Enough with this ****.

This fight is not one of them.

As for the people who will say "Marquez was the one who called out Floyd!".

                    Yes. He did.

So did quite a few other active fighters during Floyd's retirement, including Shane Mosley.

Why didn't Floyd go after any of them?

Why Marquez, of all the guys who called him out?

Because he's so clearly the favorite, that's why.
Their was talk of Floyd fighting Mosley after JMM, the haters then said that Floyd is picking on older people

Floyd will never get any credit and JMM is the perfect tune up being that he brings notoriety while not being some monster at 144 who can damage Floyd

JMM is a far more appealing tune up than Cory Spinks or a Carlos Quintana
