Same thing I mentioned about Cotto vs. Clottey which is coming up soon. If Cotto loses, I want him to lose because Clottey was the better fighter and not becausee Clottey is a SMW by fight-time. I like Clottey and I've said that in the past, but I disagree with his weight increase tactics just like I was with Gatti (who was also one of my favorite fighters to watch). I want to see how good these guys really are when they fight people closer to their actual weight. .
It's the same thing with Pac vs. Hatton; I think their should be a "cap" on how much weight they can gain. I know my suggestions will probably never happen line by line but, what about a cap of no more than 5-9 pounds Max?
If Pac is 147, and Hatton is 149, that's very close.
And for Floyd, I said the same thing: If he starts showing up and rehydrating like the rest of the WW, say, 157+, he should have no excuse not to fight the WW fighters that do the same.
