heres my point; we've been asking for mayweather 2 take on some of the best ww 's instead hes been ducking & taking on has been's & smaller weight fighters. now his long awaited return were all expecting him 2 announce his finally taking on 1 of them & instead just like he always does gets ready 2 announce hes fighting a lightweight champion who even though good is still a little man. i mean whos really gonna give floyd prop's 4 beating down a smaller man other than his fans? to me this isnt any different than when he picked on smaller hatton. if he thinks hes great he would have said yes 2 shane i mean a ray leonard came back 2 challenge hagler. u think floyd has that king of heart? hell no..... fight cotto if u really have heart & think ur the best & so great. dont pick on has beens or smaller fighters. fight in ur weight dont try & do what de la hoya tried & was humiliated. he'll most likely wuup marquez easily & then him & all his fans will claim hes the best p4p, a god, & best ever while we laugh at how ridiculous they all are. bet u all marquez fans who actually think juan is so good when i ask myself; whos impressive @ 135? exactly.....hes a good champion but not great....i have 2 consider this fight a tune up 4 mayweather so he can wait on cotto 2 fight in nov. if cotto doesnt get manny... & yes cotto will dispose of clottey 4 all haters

We all know Floyd is not an Ali or Robinson. Even us fans. There's no point debating it or using it as an issue to score points on
You're a real boxing fan; but quite a lot of Floyd worshippers do post on here saying he's the best of all time, and quite a lot more rate him in the top 10 ATGs.

Happy the fight is almost done, cant wait!!! I dont think anybody can beat Mayweather, so JMM is another victim. But should be a good fight because Mayweather hasnt fought in almost 2 years and JMM is one the smartest boxers in the game. winner should fight the winner of Pacquaio-Hatton

Actually, he does. If he is as big or bigger then he definitely does, just in a more subtle way than the usual Margarito type pressure. Just watch Hatton. He was stronger and highly physical in that fight. Watch his fights against smaller guys like Corley, N'Dou etc etc, he is physical and does use his strength, which is highly underrated, and inside fighting a lot.

Anyway, there are feasible arguments for both sides really, although every advantage does in fact lie with Mayweather and it is very unlikely he could lose this fight. If it was the Marquez of eight to ten years ago, then I would say yes, but he was a tiny guy at FW then. He is just that little bit too slow, the reflexes are that little too slow as well and he has been getting hit more and more. As long as it's not a white wash or TKO then I guess it's a good way to finish a long and brilliant career for one of this era's greats.
