FMJ is a counterpuncher, always has been. Marquez was long known for being a counterpuncher, but has showed in the past couple years he can bring it offensively and fight fire with fire on the inside. FMJ has no problem waiting all day on the outside and boring people to tears for the UD. See the Baldomir vs Mayweather fight as a reference if you ever had any doubt on this. Marquez will need to come forward and press Mayweather constantly with aggression and a steady ****** of jabs if he has any chance to beat FMJ here. In fact, the only time FMJ looks vulnerable to anything is when he is being pushed back nonstop with solid jabs, it seems to throw off his rhythm entirely(see the Oscar vs Mayweather fight for proof on this).

I hope marquez make an upset... I hope JMM will win by decision since he is a great counterpuncher... Then it will be nice to see a JMM-PAC III fight then...

The problem is if floyd jr. plays counterpuncher also, what would happen with this fight?

It might be a boring fight because who will play aggressive here? JMM waiting for floyd to punch while floyd jr will initiate safety first running backwards...LOL

This is going to be just like the DLH fight. Marquez and DLH hold similiar fight styles. Even though I want Marquez to win, I see Mayweather winning by SD. I hope I'm wrong. Can't wait to see it. It will be a great fight.

WAR MARQUEZ!!! If he pulls off the unlikely upset, he'll earn all-time great status IMO. Seriously, that's enough to make the man Fighter of the Year, especially if he beats Mayweather then fights and beats Pacman to finish off their trilogy. He'll no longer have to worry about living in the shadow of any Mexican fighter ever again.
