GOOD! I'm glad I won't have to rush for the mute button everytime that windbag Lederman barfs into the mic for 3-5 minutes straight. America's network Showtime will now swipe it up at a better price... (Or, at worst, Versus).

yeah i know and he took a big risk more than once, but you know, sometimes fighters just go back home and don't comeback... HBO makes characters, that's their business, they need people who are charismatic AND will stay for more than a year.

And they also turned down Williams-Clottey. Their recent track record is appalling.

It doesn't seem to be that simple - Taylor was in their stable but he had to go to Showtime in order to be able to fight Froch, even though it was for the WBC belt. Williams is in their stable, but they turned down Williams-Clottey.

According to Dan Rafael, the fight between Adamek and Johnson was 5 minutes away from being made, but now will not happen. Showtime has no Saturday date in July available. HBO has a date available, but rejected the fight.

So Adamek will now fight someone else on ShoBox on July 10, since Johnson required more money than they can pay for a Friday night ShoBox event.

HBO is being really ****** right now. this is an outstanding fight.

a thumbs up to Adamek and Johnson both for signing up to fight one another, they have no fear of tough competition.
