Every time Johnson has a big fight people say its a mismatch although I agree that Johnson isn’t really a cruiserweight and Adamek will possibly win, Johnson is getting old now I thought he looked slower than normal in his last fight.

I don't mind Lederman, HBO wouldn't be the same without that voice, although his scores are pretty bad.

I'm not sure if Johnson can push Adamek back, Adamek should be the bigger man in this fight, it would be a long night for Johnson if Adamek manages to push him back behind his jab. But it would be a different story if Johnson finds a way to push Adamek back, or manages to stand his ground. Adamek is a very economical puncher, he's in exciting fights but he throws very little punches, I don't think he threw over 400 against Cunningham, which would give a chance for Johnson to simply outwork him. Either way though, it will be a great fight.

          Two things,

          1) Cunningham lost to adamek with ****** tactics, very close fight, i had it 113-113 which one of the showtime commentators had it too, but adamek deserved to win, all cunningham had to do was jab, but he kept letting adamek inside for free and got what he deserved.

          2) Chad Dawson isnt a natural cruiserweight from what I know, and he schooled adamek easy, Adamek is there to be hit, poor defence imo, johson wont have a problem landing on him.

Either man can win, i think johnson has a tight guard and could smother adamek into a possible decision, if the judges allow it.

Yeah Adamek would lay it on him even worse then Woods did, who's another one of those strong pressure/****ers. I don't know how Johnson think he can go up to cruiser weight with that style and do well, because trying to pressure and bully Adamek( who is the biggest opponent Johnson would have ever faced) would be a major mistake, and would definitely get him knocked out.

Fighters ducking other fighters and using Money as an excuse, Magangers and Promoters holding out their fighters because of Past grudges, Titles being stripped by the Sanctioning Bodies for Fighting the Best Fighter in the Division instead of a Mandatory who Has no chance of Winning, And Now freaking HBO is basically killing a fight that Boxing Fans will enjoy because Trinidad Vs Adamek would make more Money. Im kidding on the last part but if that did happen would anyone be surprised. Who the Hell is Running Boxing because it seems like the same guys running Wall Street. Great Job guys. I know HBO has no responsibility in picking up this fight but surely knows without their backing this fight is over. SHowtime would be wise to pick up this fight and give the fans a great fight, once again showing that Showtime is Passing HBO as the Prime Time Boxing Channel. HBO is going to have to start ponying up the money for these great fights instead of always chosing Name fighters or Showtime will take OVer for Good

WTF???? this has WAR written all over it!!!

I hope it gets on showtime or atleast ESPN and SP1kE.

PS. Showtime taking over is good for boxing, they aint perfect, but their coverage is leagues above HBO, been saying this for ages, showtime is more for the fans of boxing, and HBO is more for the casual fans imo. Notice how HBO try to justify lots of their crappy analysis with Numbers.

"Hopkins landed 5 more punches in that round and threw 25 more jabs"

That kind of **** means nothing to me.

HBO = Garbage, been saying showtime is better for a while now, and people are beginning to realize that.

Cunningham is a natural cruiser( he even looked a lot bigger than Adamek), a very fast boxer and a very hard puncher( despite what his record shows, he can definitely ****). Johnson's hand speed is no where near that level. Hes a pressure fighter that comes in with a peek a boo style and is there to be hit. I don't think he would want to be hit consistently by a naturally bigger fighter over and over, especially since Johnson wouldn't hurt Adamek back.

Compare the hand speed and boxing ability of Dawson to that of Johnson, you you'll see a huge difference. Johnson is no where near that fast or quick on his feet.
