Johnson offered KESSLER 500K. That offer was on the table while it looked as if Kessler was to fight Larsen (easier fight) for 2-3 million. Larsen fell through and there was no time to set up another before July.

Dang I dont remember that offer, 500k is not good when Im sure like you said he can get millions more. How does a Larsen fight generate 3 million though, where is that money coming from, also do you know what the average gate is when Kessler is fighting at home against lower competition.

Kessler - Larsen is the biggest fight EVER in Denmark. It's like Bruno-Lewis in England. It would fill Parken stadium. It might not be big in the world perspective but over here it's massive. The ordinary dane thinks Larsen has a very good chance.

Wow I didnt know that, Its no wonder some fighters stay home to fight then, especially when they make alot of money, its just here in the U.S. alot of the time we are not tuned into their popularity of them in other countries. And many times we havent really even heard of their opponents.

These Kessler defences are nearly getting as bad as the bum of the month fights Roy jones and Hopkins were fighting in the late 90's

                Mikkel Kessler=Anthony Mundine=Felix Strum=Zolt Erdai =

Fighters w/ no baLLs who are allergic to tough competition & big fights outside their home country.

He had a good showing vs Calzaghe just like Felix Strum did vs oscar, so instead of parlaying those performances into big fights vs big opposition they chose the easy route.

He's ranked #37 by boxrec and his résumé is atrocious. He's better than Lockett and Jennings but not by that much.

Kessler is being screwed by his promoter and there's nothing he can do about it until he can get out of his contract. Try educating yourself before posting.

I don't get it?! Surely Kessler's, Sturm's and Mundine's toughest competition and biggest fight's all took place outside their respective home countries?!
