Found him, his defense looks suspect to me... And yeah, I know he is the one who won this fight but he looked like he made alot of mistakes in this fight, leaving himself open for counter shots

On the positive side he does what you're supposed to do to bums. The Calzaghe fight aside, you could probably count on your two hands the number of rounds that Kessler has lost in his career.

It'll be another showreel KO in under 5.

No, he is the black fighter. But I didn't find him all that impressive, if he had a live opponent in front of him I think he would have problems. Kessler should be able to KO this guy in less then 5 rounds, if it goes longer then that then I give Perdmo more credit then I am currently giving him.

Mikkel Kessler doesn't need to train to be ready for Perdomo. He just has to roll out of bed and make sure he isn't late on fight night. Does anyone know the status of his legal issues?

Some Danes have informed me that Kessler's position, as it stands now, is that in his view, fighting Perdomo, his mandatory, fulfills his contractual obligation to Mogens Palle.

This allows him to be free of Palle so he can find a new promoter who will secure him big fights.

That's his whole motivation for wanting to leave Palle - getting big fights. This a guy who fought Calzaghe in Wales - it isn't his dream to be fighting Sartisons and Hausslers and Perdomos.

Unfortunately, Palle believes Kessler has to fight 3 more times as a Palle fighter in order to fulfill his contractual oibligations.

They're wrestling with this in court but obviously, while they're in dispute, Palle is in no hurry to move Kessler's career forward and make fights.

I expect Kessler to be stripped of his title for inactivity pretty soon, unless he gets a quick victory in the Danish courts.

To add to OttkeTurpins post I can say that no news of Palle's sopeana (spelling) has come out. Kessler still awaits Palle's next move. I suspect that they are working on a settlement behind the scenes. Best case could be that Kessler fights Perdomo and and then Larsen to end his stunt with Palle.

Currently Palle has another case which is due in court in May against german team Sauerland. It's about the Beyer-Kessler fight in which Palle had the danish television rights, but sauerlands TV-company ARD broadcasted the fight in Denmark thereby making it impossible for Palle to sell the fight via PPV. That made Palle lose a fortune.
