People like to say that he was elusive, but its really isn't the case, and the condition of his face speaks to that fact.

I don't want to flame, but I highly doubt if you've seen any of his fights? He was virtually impossible to hit clean.

Of course his face looks bashed in. He had some 350 am fights to go with his procareer.
