    PBF said:
“No disrespect to Sugar Ray Robinson,” but was he undefeated? Did he win six titles in five weight classes?”

I have no respect for fighters claiming to be better than SRR but then wants to avoid Mosley to fight a boxer a few months ago was a superfeather weight.....

    what a CHICKEN!!!!!!

He fighting two weight classes above anything he's ever fought at before. Come on now, seriously, at his age do you not think that could and very well might be detrimental to his speed and stamina? Not to mention never being in the ring with not only a world class fighter that big before, but a truly elite world class fighter who's been acclimated to that weight for some time.

I think Floyd should fight a fringe contender at 147 if he's serious about getting back in the mix. A Collazo or a Delvin Rodrigez. I don't believe he's sincere though and is just going after the biggest money fight that leads to an even bigger money fight. That isn't hate, but a pattern that has developed with him.

I don't begrudge any fighter the occasional mega pay day. But if thats all you are about, Im gonna call you on it. Especially when you really do have the talent to be the best. Talent or not though, nobody is the best without consistently beating the best. Thats just how it is.

Very well put as usual Jab.

Call it what it is. This is at best a tune-up moneyfight and not a legit competition. Floyd might even have said that he wanted legacy more than money. This fight gives him nothing in regards to legacy no matter what the floydstans says. Deep down they should be able to see this.

The interesting part comes after this latest in a long line of PBF tune-ups. What will Floyd do then?

Two things wrong with that picture, Floyd is a megastar now and the rest of his fights will be on PPV. You will never see a Collazo or Delvin Rodriguez with Floyd on PPV, dont think I need to explain that one. Marquez is the only fight out there that is PPV worthy, Cotto and everybody else is scheduled, but besides that, Floyd has been off a year and a half, I really dont see what the fuss is about.

So its either a guy he already dominated, or a guy who has had 1 fight at 135, 1 fight at 147, and 1 fight at 140. Yeah, thats some legacy he's building after being at 147 (or above) for his last 5 or 6 fights and never fighting the toughest comp there. What a warrior.

I dont remember you complaining about Pac fighting Oscar, Oscar wasnt the best competition at 147.

A mega star? When has Floyd proved this without Oscar or Ricky? And Floyd DID say if he came back it would be for legacy and not money. Floyd could get an HBO date with one of those fighters if he wanted to. Problem is, he's chasing the money, not the legacy, and trying to pull the wool over your eyes.

no one is asking floyd to fight the best competition at 147, theyre asking him to fight competition at 147.
