why would his career be over off of a weapons charge? It's a minor offense, hopefully he'll get a slap on the wrist. It's not like he killed or **** someone here, he simply had a gun that was not under his name.

Besides, he's not allowed to protect himself because he's a felon. I know I have the same law against me as I too am a convicted felon. That was a long time ago (10 years) but for the rest of my life I am not legally allowed to own a gun to protect myself. I have sympathy for Kirkland because I can relate in a way.

Even though it was a mistake on his part, where he's from, the life he lived and the mentality he has, it's better to get caught with a strap than without it, if you know what I mean.

He's done! Of all places why Texas? Texas has a law of zero tolerance when it comes to carrying a firearm without a license with a punishment of 5 years. Possesion of a firearm by a felon, only God knows how much time they are going to give him.
