James Kirkland Arrested in Texas, Weapons Charge

In what may or may not become a major topic over the next few days, undefeated junior middleweight contender James Kirkland was arrested on Sunday during a traffic stop in Austin, Texas, and booked by the Travis County Sherriff's Department when a weapon was found in the vehicle. Boxing reporter Dan Rafael wrote that Kirkland was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. [details]
