      • its alot easier to go up in weight than go down we all know this but alot of floyd haters seem to have forgotten this, look at examples of RJJ or DLH when they decided to shed too much weight too quickly.

floyd is not a big WW but he does have alot of lean muscle mass and 145 or 144 is a fair weight. for JMM 144 or 145 is also fair he can bulk up and still campaign at 140 later on if he wants.

you know with all the circus around weight and weight issues iv found a new repsect for sugar shane, his dedication, ability and talent. alot of fighters like DLH and RJJ have found it hard to campaign at higher weights and then go back down but suagr shane went up to 154 and then cam back down to 147 and has still maintained alot of his speed and reflexes.

            FLOYD=BIGGEST ***** EVER
Yeah, makes Floyd look like a ***** but Miguel Cotto comes
back after a beat down from Antonio Margarito & fights some
gift win against a bum out of England only after 7months and
Mayweather is coming back after 2 years to fight the 2nd best
fighter in the sport at a catch weight when Mayweather is
comfortable at 147. Wouldn't you think that coming back
after a 2 year lay off & dropping some pounds would be more
risky then getting beat 7 months prior and coming back and
fighting a bUM at your comfortable weight? Yeah, Mayweather
is a ***** for wanting to fight the #2 P4P fighter in the world
but Miguel Cotto a prime, solid 147 Welter wants to fight Manny
Pacquiao knowing that Cotto can't even go lower than 147 so
that will be the weight for the fight? At Cotto's comfort zone.
floyd started at 130 (Successfully), so did Pacquiao and Marquez,
Cotto didn't. You guys act like it's impossible for guys to move
up and be competitve & successful in the ring but it happens all
the time. Anyways, I to see this fight, should be interesting to
            say the least.

            • It seems everyone would like to see this fight but when Pacquiao was going to fight DLH everyone was bitching. Everyone was saying DLH is this & that, well what does this fight make Floyd?

              • So much for the Floyd nuthugger claiming Floyd can make 140. You know who you are.

Anyways, it would be difficult for Mayweather to make as he's been out for some time. I really don't see this fight happening.

Oscar De La Hoya was/is 5'10" 1/2, Manny Pacquiao is/was
5'7" if I'm not mistaken, that's why it was considered to be
a mismatch but Manny proved the critics wrong. Floyd
Mayweather Jr is 5'8" and Juan Manuel Marquez is 5'7".
That's only a inch advantage in height with both fighting
at 143/45? you guys are overreacting too much when it
comes to PBF on here. You act like the guy is a giant
                  against JMM.

Then PBF shouldnt have any problems going down to 140lbs to make the fight happen JJM willing to go up to 143lbs which shows how much balls he has given that he has never fought above 135lbs

No, DLH/Pac was considered a mismatch because Pac was fighting at 130 last year and had only one fight at LW. Fighting at WW was ridiculous.

Now FMJ/JMM is considered a mismatch because JMM was fighting at 130 last year and has only two fights at LW. Likewise fighting at WW is ridiculous. Difference being Floyd isn't nearly as old as DLH and won't be nearly as weight drained, plus JMM doesn't have Pac's power.
