**** he moved to welter a couple of fights after getting slayed by Zoo and despite only fighting Spinks and going 1 and 1 against him, he was suddenly the man.

So since he lost to Baldomir Baldomir was the man?

Sorry but... yes Judah was indeed the man at 147. (and he also put on a great performance in the 2nd Spinks fight. Remember Spinks has never been stopped at 47, 54 or 60, and he never lost anyting but close fights for a reason). It's of course unfortunate for the WW lineage that Judah's ******ed ass lost to Baldomir...

The comparison to Erdei is out of place, because while Roy was certainly NOT the lineal champ, he at least won EVERY belt of which DM was stripped. making DM claim weaker as the years went by (even though DM beat pretty much everyone Roy beat). Spinks on the other hand had all the 3 major belts, which were split for ridiculous reasons after Baldomir beat Judah. And afterwards no unification took place. The closest thing to that was Cotto-Margarito, which happened after Mayweather retired, but at that point that has nothing to do with Judah's claim to being the man at 147.

The JMM fight will be at a catch weight..if its at 140..JMM wil barely earn a dollar...believe that.

but what about the excuse of floyd not being able to make 140 anymore? if marquez doesn't get good money, he'll just end negotiations.

BTW 140 IS a catch weight. marquez is a "135 pounder", floyd's a 147. more than 141-142 would be unfair

But remember, he wanted to fight him b4. Floyd can fight Pac, Ricky, Marquez, Mosley for good money... Floyd seems to take it personal when people "call him out" aggressively (ala Hatton). Rather than just when they say, "I would like to fight Floyd". Hatton made him angry which is really why he signed the fight so quickly... Seeng how Floyd can be very disrespectful towards other fighters I'm actually quite shocked that none of the top WW really cares to disrespect him back or "call him out" aggressively like Ricky did. Cotto, Mosley, Clottey should come out and say, "Floyd you're soft as **** and I'm gonna knock you the **** out"... If one of them does that or anything near that and Floyd don't fight them... I will go to Floyd's house in Vegas myself and pound on his door and give him the "***** of the Decade" Award. But until then, FLoyd is jus looking into his best monetary interests...and I can't hate on him for that..
