Listen here school boy... Floyd wanted the fight.. Regardless of weight or at what time it was, Cotto had a shot at fighting him... Bob messed it up for him.. If you wanna be mad at someone be mad at Arum, not Floyd. I know I am.. Bob ****ed up that fight for him because Miguel was "too green". Thats bull****.. He didn't like Floyd beause of their past and didn't want him to win AND make any extra cash off of him.
It is no coincidence that Floyd doesn't fight Top Rank fighters... Bob always wants Floyd to take a pay cut to fight them (just like he is suggesting against Pac). He is a snake... Funny how Cotto was his "boy" before Margarito... But then after he lost it seemed like he was riding ***** in between Tony and Bob... And never forget that Bob IS driving. Bob even went as far as to defend Tony for the wraps...
So PLEASE! spare me on the Floyd is ducking Cotto nonsense... Don't be surprised if Floyd never fights anyone under the Top Rank banner pal. It doesn't make sense monetarily or risk-to-reward-ratio wise for Floyd. Regardless, like I said it doesn't matter at what weight or when. Floyd wanted the fight.
