he's turning 31 this year. been fighting for 15-16 years , man.

eventually that catches up with you. guys like jmm last longer because they're boxers and counterpunchers. less wear and tear on the body.

sluggers like manny generally are done at a younger age.

i just want manny to whoop hatton , marquez again and try to grab a belt at 147 and retire.

Another good post. Let's be honest with ourselves, folks, the next DLH is more likely to come from MMA than from boxing. There is no obvious heir to DLH; it isn't simply a case of 'best boxer'.
I'm not saying Pac will draw like DLH. What I'm saying is Pac inherits the title of Top Drawer in boxing.

In pac's last 2 fights, he basically untouched. This is the reason I said Pac still has full 2 years of reighn.

Isn't it Floyd's attitude that contributed to his popularity? Maybe that is what Cotto needs to do to become a household name, not act like a boxing droid.

like i said once you reach the top only place to go is down.

you never know when all of a sudden the body wears down.

sometimes it's a slow effect where you can see the guy slowing down , sometimes it just hits you.

not really. i think hatton is easy money for pacquiao.

it'll look like diaz-pac but ricky won't be able to handle the punishment as good as david did.

pac is all wrong for hatton.

well when hatton fought floyd, the whole world rallyd around hatton, because of floyd's attitude what i thought....floyd does have a following but theres like 5-10 guys i think are more popular then floyd.....i think 3 biggest names as far as marquee names and big money guys.....was/is.....oscar, hatton, and pacquiao.....but the can only do so much because there popularity stops at a certain point.

i doubt duran had fanbase like oscar and he was as good if not better.manny don't need to change anything about himself.america might never accept pacman like oscar but they cannot deny his greatness in boxing.
