i agree. not enough coverage , pull.

it's not like the old days when boxing was covered as front page news.

nowadays boxing coverage is so small.

golf and tennis gets more tv coverage.

As Arum Stated in the Article, Pac is an Exotic kind. He's an import with amazing talent. Yao ming Crossed over... Pac definitely can!!
He does not appeal to a wide range of people who are not totally obsessed with boxing....if you disagree with that, then we are just going to have to agree to disagree.

        Good post.

Another good post. Let's be honest with ourselves, folks, the next DLH is more likely to come from MMA than from boxing. There is no obvious heir to DLH; it isn't simply a case of 'best boxer'.

          kamusta tua?

i think MP has definitely peaked... but jmm is older & still can deliver...

i remember wayne mccullough telling some interviewer that hunger is the most important thing for a fighter...

jmm is still hungry after years of staying in the shadows of MAB & morales...

he may be in-peak or past it but as long as manny stays hungry, i think he will be fine...

          i hope he still is...

it depends on how haye wins
it could happen. but even lennox lewis had trouble
cracking the states . basically you have to beat a legend
so haye might have to fight a old holyfield ...
lewis only really got credit after beating tyson
holyfield may become champ yet ! - lol

that would catapult him very significantly as a superstar IMO...
Haye is not even in the Radar. He needs a Group of great fighters around him to fight. Ali has Foreman, Frazier & Holmes. SRL has his Hearns, Hagler & Duran. DLH has his Chavez, Whitaker & trinidad. But Pac has 2 sets. He has his MAB, EM & JMM and the followed by DLH, PBF & Mosley/Cotto. What if Pac gets Greedy & takes another 3 sets of Pavlik, Pwill & Andre Ward at Middleweight?

i think cristobal arreola has potential to be a mega money star as well....he could really bring the american fans...and hispanic viewing block back to the heavyweight division.....i think ortiz, and arreola have more potential to be mainstream cash cows then pac at this stage......oscar appealed to across all demographics.....thats the key when we discuss "who is the next oscar"

Agree, do you think Cotto could become a more mainstream star now that his english is greatly improved? I mean it's the whole reason he bothered to learn at all.

i'm scared that all the fights will catch up with him. manny has been in a lot of wars. jmm was a boxer and his younger days were rarely in many battles.

pac has been in tons of wars. you don't know when it catches up with you. he's been fighting since what 15-16? (mas gusto ko pa mag retire na siya on top.)
