you can easily argue and favor roy jones, floyd mayweather, and bernard hopkins over the pacman
floyd doesn't deserve to be mentioned with jones , pac and hop.

I didn't say Pac will be the next golden boy. I said Pac will be the next Money man of boxing after DLH. The next Golden boy Should be an American With a an Olympic Gold medal to start with. For now there's only Andre Ward as the qualified one. But Andre's Personality & fighting style won't even make it to what DLH turned out to be. It's a long way for the next Golden Boy. But there's The Pacman to hold the torch for now.

I find it ironic that the argument against MMA is that it's too much like real fighting, that it doesn't have any finesse and that boxing is "the sweet science", yet people constantly bash Mayweather who executes that "sweet science" better than ANYONE in this generation, and instead favor guys like Pacquiao or Gatti who display much less "finesse" and "sweetness" with more brute strength and power which you claim is all that MMA is.

                    PacD is quite simple.

Predict a Pacquiao win in every fight.

When he's right, post he was correct about 10 times in every forum. When he's wrong, don't say a word.

PacD, did you predict Pacquiao would get his ass whooped by a washed up Morales, or get a draw with Marquez, or get busted up and barely scratch out a SD in the rematch?

You predicted Pacquiao would KO Marquez and Barrera II. You said Margarito hasn't defeated any legends therefore he could never beat Pacquiao and is not in his league. Since Calzaghe beat RJJ and Hopkins (two greater legends than anyone Pac faced), I guess that makes him the greatest fighter of this generation, right? LOL

But if you mention Pacman's name, I don't even have a chance to butt in, they'll be talking about his past fights, his coming fight against Hatton and any little trivial matters pertaining to him.

I work for a tribal casino and almost everyone knew who Pacquiao is. An establishment like a casino is the most diverse place you'll ever find. I was pleasantly surprised that an old Vienamese woman, an equally old Caldean guy and somebody from Albania are talking about Pacman while playing Blackjack. I overheard them saying they were all going to the fight this May. Caucasians, African-Americans and Asians that I've talk to, knows him. Some vaguely, but the younger ones knows him well.

Pacman is on the verge of being mainstream, if he's not there yet...
That's what I'm saying! We who works with Retail & in Services meet a lot of people everyday. So we have a better gauge of what the general sentiments of the public.

Most of you guys here are just probably Keyboard warriors who is just limited in your cubicle. Most of the people I talked to about Boxing at work don't even go to the web & check boxing. They only heard about Pac from ESPN & some sports news. In my estimation 75+% of boxing PPV buyers don't follow boxing on the net. We keyboard warriors were just the minority.

Older demographic relly only from TV sports news for boxing news. They know now no more DLH. I don't think they will stop watching Boxing after they witnessed how exciting & how devastating this guy who beat up DLH.
I'm sure they'll tune in. The only fans we're losing are the Female fans. I don't know if the Female DLH fans were attracted to Pac's Charm. we will see!!!
