it depends on how good Hatton looks on the night of the fight. you can hardly give credit to Pacquiao if Hatton looks like trash.

for the most part, people with give a little more credit to Floyd for beating Hatton though, because he DID do it first.

I do agree, it was Floyds adaptation that took away Oscars jab... he stayed out of range and adjusted... Oscar didnt just suddenly stop throwing it for no reason...

Mayweather fight night weight was 148, the exact same as Pac
It doesnt matter what his weight was fight night or not pac went to get him out and didnt even bearly let dlh land ANYTHING. Its his own fault anyways Pacman destroyed him and floyd bearly won. Went i said he jumped 3 is because he only fought once at 135 he wasnt established at that weight either. Now Pacman will get more credit because hes fighting him at 140 Hatton is undefeated at that weight Hatton at 147 lost to collazo imo and didnt really look impressive at all. Then he went back there to fight floyd. Floyd was already established at 147. Pac has had one fight at 135 one at 147 and is fighting ricky at his best weight where hes undefeated. Also ricky looks better now with floyd sr than he did his last couple fights be4 malignali.

I dont wanna hear about oh Floyd isnt a real welterweight anyway... well neither is Manny, but he's fighting Hatton at Hattons best weight class, where hes still undefeated in about 42-43 fights...
I was making a long post in response to King Burner but that basically sums up the reason for me. This is why Pac might get more credit, and certainly place the final nail in the coffin to get Floyd out of retirement. If he doesn't come out by then, I don't know what will!

Right....so I wonder you Floyd hater/Pac huggers apply this same logic to Pacs win over Oscar...considering Floyd beat Oscar at his NATURAL weight class.

off-topic. this thread is about pacquiao having the balls big enough to fight hatton at his best weight. he gets more credit if he beats hatton at 140

oh and yeah, regarding what you said, pac didn't fight oscar at 154, but he jumped 3 weight classes in less than 6 months to make this fight happen and stopped oscar humiliatingly. in what fashion did mayweather beat oscar? wasn't it a split decision??

Floyd did it first, so he has to get the most credit.

I think Pacquiao, he's fighting Hatton at 140, which is Hatton's best weight class. Hatton seems to have gotten better with Mayweather Sr. technically. So Pacquiao for me.

floyd woulda been the first to do it so i'm leaning towards him ... but none the less if pac wins which ever manner is real impressive imo ...
