First off its a doc. on the first two fights(mainly the last one), not a doc. on Alis life. Secondly after reading a few books on Ali I dont recall him ever giving Frazier any credit. Credit was only given later on in life when Ali probably had time to think about it and tried to save face. He knew he was wrong and it finally ate him up inside.why isnt HBO showing how Ali gave over 10 million+ to charities
Why isnt HBO showing how Ali later in life said Joe fraizer was the greatest fighter he ever fought...
Ali was the greatest fighter ever at winning the fight before the fight ever started,,,and after the fight he would always give respect to his opponents..
This doc. is one sided against Ali but its the truth.Comment

frazier overreaction is the only reason people still remember it....i think the corner stoppage still pisses him off....after the fight ali kept saying how joe frazier was the greatest next to him......if you like frazier its cool i just dont know why fans today get riled about the old rivalry between two individuals....Comment

Trudat, Breezy.Because every damn other Documentary on the planet about Ali has that stuff in it.
This is about the other side of the story, Joe Frazier's side. The side nobody really knows much about, or cared about.
Let Joe have his moment.
Ali has more money, more fans, more status, more recognition, and more love than Joe ever will.
Can't you let Joe have this one Documentary without bitching?
This show is providing BALANCE.Comment

Of course the corner stoppage still pisses him off, he hated Ali. And Ali himself was ready to quit in Manila after the 14th round. He told his corner "cut them off" (his gloves), and said he was "done".frazier overreaction is the only reason people still remember it....i think the corner stoppage still pisses him off....after the fight ali kept saying how joe frazier was the greatest next to him......if you like frazier its cool i just dont know why fans today get riled about the old rivalry between two individuals....
Whether or not he would've continued is up to debate. But Frazier has every reason to be pissed about it.
And I'm not riled up. I just had to point out that the one time Joe Frazier gets to tell his side of the story, people like Horus come in bitching a fit.
How many films are there about Ali out right now?
All of them show him in a positive light.
But the one time the other side of the story is told, someone has to ***** about it.Comment

Listen you guys..
bOxing is the Sweet ART OF WAR...
THAT **** aint a game. People get hurt.
IF YOU can BEAT YOUR OPPONENT BEFORE THE FIGHT EVEN BEGINS....
you do it.
Ali was the best ever at winning the fight before the belt even rang...
and that means saying **** that the normal person wouldnt say...
this means going inside a person comfort zone and removing everything they hold dear to them...
This is what seperates the greats from the very good.
This is why People win and why people lose.
One guy has to be willing to say **** being politically correct. My life is on the line, and i have to make sure i make my opponent focuses on everything but boxing before he fights me...
And thats what Ali did the best...
And this is why he is the greatest..
P.S
why is larry holmes in this ****...Comment
