Can a Klitschko still be an ATG?

I created this poll to get everyones opinion on either Klitschko brother ever becoming an ATG. There's few options so if your opinion is not up there, just issue it in a post.

    Thanks for participating, everybody.

I think both can be ATG's if they just continue to do exactly what they are doing. I expect Vitali to retire after a few more fights if Wladimir doesn't get beaten again while VIT is active. After Vitali retires, Wlad will be the Lennox Lewis of this era and in my opinion will be valued just as much if he just keeps beating everyone in front of him.

As far as Vitali, he is a step ahead already. He has beaten two fighters Wlad has lost to in devastating fashion and of course continued lineage after the Lewis fight. If he gets a few more meaningful wins (unifying the WBA title, being one)with knockouts, he should be in place to be considered an ATG.

Yes, Vitali can still be an ATG due to his KO ratio and dominant wins in this era.

Yes, Wladimir has beaten everyone easily since Brewster and can be an ATG if he keeps it going.

No, the comp. in this era is too weak and there isn't enough good fighters or time left.

a top 20 then yes, top 10 that's pretty inconceivable in the current state of play.

        The Klitschkos ARE all-time greats.

But no matter what they do or who they beat, the Klitschkos will never be considered all-time greats because of their skin is the wrong color and because they come from the wrong country.

The "experts" will just say their opponents are no good, no matter who they beat.

Right now there's a lot of excitement about David Haye, but he'll be despised and called a bum (the way Ray Austin and all the others were) after Wlad KOs him.

No. Vitali is not quite good enough and Wlad would be a prison ***** in a decent Heavyweight era. Vitali reminds me of Gerry Cooney without as good a left hook and Wlad reminds me of, well just about every glass-jawed no stamina fighter that's come down the pike. ATGs do not get KTFO by Ross Purrity.

This is the biggest crock of **** I've ever read.

Jack Dempsey is a white ATG Heavyweight.

James J. Jeffries is a white ATG Heavyweight.

Rocky Marciano is a white ATG Heavyweight.

Gene Tunney is a white ATG Heavyweight.

James J. Corbett is a white ATG Heavyweight.

Sam Langford wasn't from America, yet he's an ATG Heavyweight.

Lennox Lewis wasn't from America, yet he's an ATG Heavyweight.

Max Schmeling wasn't from America, AND he was white, yet he's an ATG Heavyweight.

For everyones sake, lets hope you are wrong. The Klitschko's deserve respect and after a while I am optomistic that they will get it.

Time will tell and I think if Wladimir should get respect for any fight at the moment, it should be beating Haye dominantly. Which I think he will.

They can. There have been great fighters at heavyweight despite mediocre opposition.

The problem for Vitali is that he got into the picture at a relative high age as he was avoided by the top guys especially Lennox. Also he lost about 4 years due to injury. Now the guy is 37 and signs of degress is showing.

Wlad will need to keep winning a couple of years still. You cannot let his dominance and safety-first style count against him. He wins without getting in difficulty which is great, but it costs in respect from especially the yanks who likes to see the worlds heavyweight champion taken to hell and back.

Maybe a great competitive fight with David Haye can change his rather static aura.

That right there just tells you what a sad state the division is currently in.

That Wlad would need to gain respect by knocking out a Cruiserweight who he outweighs by 30lbs. A cruiserweight who's been dropped multiple times, and TKO'd by Carl Thompson.

All those fighters except for Langford and Lewis have been discredited by the media in recent years.

According to Kellerman, Farhood, Rosenthal, Raskin, Atlas and others, there has never been a ATG white fighter.
