Having guys dry out only to put on 10-20 pounds of weight the very next day. If you're really concerned about safety any doctor can tell you that those kind of weight fluctuations are not healthy.
You just disagree with me cuz Margarito is Jesus. Get out of here you bitter Puerto Rican. Cotto lost, dont blame my thread. Blame Margarito's fists of fury.

So. what if mayweather wasnt a slick boxer? what if he was a brawler who left himself wide open, and he suffered serious long lasting damage because some **** came in at nearly a stone heavier than he did and smacked him in the head repeatedly?

What is the point of having a weight class, if a fighter can come in 12-13 pounds above that limit on fight night?

Your idea that a guy should dry out and put on 20 pounds a day later is dumb and ****ty.

What kind of joke is this?
How bout you fight at the weight you naturally come in. Whats the point of dropping 25 pounds of "in between fight" weight only to put 10 or 15 pounds on after the Friday weigh in.
Its dishonest and only serves to give the alphabets more paper champions and more revenue.
I got an idea. Lets go Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight. Period.
Boxing isnt about weight anyway, its about skill. This has been proven time and time again.
Lets stop bull****ting the public with all the weights when the fighters never come in at the division their supposedly fighting at. Well, actually, Oscar did...and he looked like hell.

          Lightweight-125-150
          Middle-150-185
Heavy-185 and up (Dempsey and Louis weighed 185 and kicked ass on guys 6'6 250+ on a regular basis)

          Problem solved.
And for those who think those weights are too wide. Man up. The heavy weights do it all the time.

soo.. i guess.. in your boxing organization.. we wont see... guys like calderon, vic darchynan... donito..... etc etc...

          please.. lets elaborate this ****..

Pendejo...I already addressed this. All those guys usually weigh between 120 and 135 on fight night.

For their 3 fights Marquez and Vazquez weighed over 130 on fight night. They basically fought as lightweights, lol...pay attention ******o.

The Weigh-In situation has been done the way it currently is for too long now to be changed. At the end of the day the guy's know who they are facing when they sign the contract. Don't sign to fight a guy 6 inches taller than you if you're worried he "may" weigh more than you on fight night.

The "no hydrate over 5 lb's" is a great idea and would fix the problem.
