just get rid of teh "light"/"super"/"Jnr" weigths.

    Heavy 200+
    Cruiser 200
    Light Heavy 175
    Middle 160
    Welter 145
    Feather 130
    Bantam 120
    Fly 110

There done, throw in same day weigh ins and 2 belts not 4 and you have a system that would work.

Thats what I'm talking about. No need for cruiser though...185 and up is heavy.

WTF? When's Hatton ever weighed 160 on fight night?

            Ahh another classic.

how can a 5'6" LWW be naturally bigger than a 5'9" LMW?

I'm starting to think that the level of ******ity in your posts shows a disturbing trend towards inbreeding.

            leave your sister alone Minion!

no way most top heavy's weigh in at 250+ it's too big a gap from 175 -> 250.

i was with you until the weight division thing

they're like that for a reason and i think they're fine myself

however, they should definitely have weigh ins on the day of the fight. what is even the point of them right now?

                  118 lb (53.5 kg) Bantamweight
115 lb (52.2 kg) Super flyweight112 lb (50.8 kg) Flyweight
108 lb (49.0 kg) Light flyweight

What is the point of these divisions. Only like 3to 4 pounds difference.

How about One division like the Ancient Greeks had. On that note, bring back the original form of boxing as well.

Talk about Old School and making the New School look like a bunch of pampered *******.

Although I think the Romans took it further.

What kind of joke is this?
How bout you fight at the weight you naturally come in. Whats the point of dropping 25 pounds of "in between fight" weight only to put 10 or 15 pounds on after the Friday weigh in.
Its dishonest and only serves to give the alphabets more paper champions and more revenue.
I got an idea. Lets go Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight. Period.
Boxing isnt about weight anyway, its about skill. This has been proven time and time again.
Lets stop bull****ting the public with all the weights when the fighters never come in at the division their supposedly fighting at. Well, actually, Oscar did...and he looked like hell.

                      Lightweight-125-150
                      Middle-150-185
Heavy-185 and up (Dempsey and Louis weighed 185 and kicked ass on guys 6'6 250+ on a regular basis)

                      Problem solved.
And for those who think those weights are too wide. Man up. The heavy weights do it all the time.

you left the lower classes out.
