    wise men

Arum has very good business acumen, why would he take the risk of MP-JMM 3 when there is the chance for Valero to stop JMM on his tracks. But GBP is not ****** to take the bait and take a bigger risk for JMM. EV-JMM is far less realistic at this point than MP-JMM 3. Im certain Pacman wants a 3rd with Dinamita so he can silence him with an exclamation point. Freddie and Arum will definitely pick JMM rather than "$20M floyd"......makes more sense,... fyt wise and business wise for them.

      icy chin

seriously now, anybody have watched "valero vs mosquera" in youtube, all 10 rounds are there. valero went down in 3, hit with a feather duster. he was even running in many rounds, before he KO mosquera in the dying minute of rd 10. valero has weak chin.....

Sure I give communist Valero a slight shot against JMM, he does have the power and somewhat speed to crack JMM but in reality JMM will just end up schooling Valero and KO that unprotected chin of his. Valero is an exciting fighter but he's nothing special aside of that really.

Time is running out for Marquez to be honest with you. I'm a huge fan but it seems as though this would be a lose/lose situation for JMM.

I think that if he beats him, so what. If he loses to Valero, his career is over. JMM needs to make Paquiao III, that's where he needs to be next year.

Valero has fought 25 nobodies (According to many) & knocked them out, so why not get him in there with the best to see what it do?
no way JMM will fyt valero, not his time at least. risk-reward is very unfavourable for him. Marquez is angling for ricky, manny even floyd. any of these 3 will be retirement fyt when he loses. that's the real drift there....? why on earth will JMM fyt valero, not one good reason for his person to do so!

I really think that JMM can easily beat Valero honestly, but I see your point, age is catching up to him despite his greatness and Valero is a risk due to his age and his power.

JMM 1, 2, 3 , 4 , 5 punch, against 1 counter heavy punch from Valero will send JMM to the canvass. I am for Valero for this fight... make it happen..JMM cannot handle bullying style of vaLERO from start to finish, JMM is too old for this kind of fight.

You think Valero can walk through 5 flush JMM shots? I wouldn't call Valero's style bullying. His style is more like a bootleg Pacquiao and JMM did fine against Pac. No doubt Pac's toughest fights ever were against JMM!

Diaz had a bullying style and look wher it got him, JMM had a 50% connect rate on Diaz.

While I think JMM would absolutely school Valero, it would be interesting because Valero would have a puncher's chance. That said, it's a big risk/low reward fight for Marquez. JMM is looking for big names and big money at this point. It will take too long to build up Valero enough for this fight and Marquez is not too far from retirement, so I don't see it happening.

JMM would give Valero the beating of his lifetime.
