Am i the only person who wants to see Hopkins vs Chad Dawson????......He'll have plenty of motivation in the fact that beating Chad will 100% clean out the Light Heavyweight division for B-Hop and make him up unquestionably THE MAN at 175. Not to mention DAWSON BEAT ADAMEK!!!!!!!.....Hopkins always talks about he needs a threat to get motivated. Trust me Bernard, Chad Dawson will be a THREAT!!....And then you can bow out after beating one of the best young lions in the sport.

Absolutely. If Bernard wants a challenge, Chad will bring it for sure. But I think Bernard has already said that he's not interested in fighting young guns anymore. So call Glen Johnson. I'd love to see Glencoe get a decent fight. He'd take the fight for 500 large.

Bernard is in a difficult spot because he's not a huge draw and the only way he can make big bucks is to fight someone dangerous.

According to whom, does Adamek deserves more? Hopkins makes a good point by referencing the Joppy fight. He made $300K for the Joppy fight and this was after his fight with Trinidad! Adamek doesnt have a Trinidad on his resume. This is a good opportunity for Adamek to fight against a legend who is willing to move up to his weight class to make a fight. I believe it is Adameks promoters that are preventing this fight. Hopkins is a world class star of the sport of boxing. He doesnt need Adamek at all. Adamek deserves whatever the average is of the amounts that he has made in his last 3 fights. I dont know what that number is but Im sure $500k is probably more than what he has made in one fight!

Look, everyone.

I wanted to see the fight as much as the next guy but it's a very poor offer for any lineal division champ. If HBO offered 4 million for the fight, Adamek deserves AT LEAST 40% of that based on facing a legend that doesn't exactly draw a ton of spectators by himself.

Allot of people don't realize that if B-hop did win, that would be the 3rd lineal division championship he would have won. That's a prestigious honor and he should have given a little to obtain that recognition.

Maybe Roy Jones should take the opritunity to win a belt in his 5th weight division. It's a winnable fight even for the faded Roy Jones. Adamek is way slow and his workrate is nowhere near Calzaghe's.

Yeah if not Adamek, then Dawson, he still has enough in the tank to topple Dawson. He would make more money and only add to his greatness. I think Hopkins has to go down as one of the greatest fighters of all time in any wieght class.

He's respected by most boxing fans. But which fight would bring Bernard more respect? Dawson or Jones Jr.?
