B-HOP did not want the fight from begining

I do not know how many of you know but the pool was 6 mil to split. HBO offered 3 min, tickets and TV right around the globe ware estimated also for about 3 mil. Hopkins does not want to fight Adamek by making that offer it is plane and simple. And honestly I do not remember a boring fight that Adamek was in and could name a few of Hop. Also that BS that he has nothing to gain is just BS, if he won the fight that would be a perfect retire fight, but he knows he will not win.cheers all.

HIT and HOLD HOPKINS is crazy.First off he doesn't draw flys,he has been a CHEATER in the ring since the second TAYLOR fight.HIT then HOLD then BERNARD decides when to let go and HIT again then HOLD ON,so on and so on ALL NIGHT.He was still holding onto PAVLIK in round 11 and 12!!!The guy is an embarrassment"I neutralize aggression"by HOLDING ON LIKE A GIRL ALL FIGHT,I'll never forget against CALZAGHE I believe it was round 9 JOE made a brilliant adjustmant ,whenever BERNARD would lunge in to hit then HOLD JOE would step back and catch him over and over,It had to be the most embarrising moment of BERNARDS carrear ,following this "WHITE"guy around just trying to HOLD HIM getting tagged over and over because he COULDN'T HOLD HIM!!! NEEDING a break because the old timer had to actually fight and had no one to HOLD.It is a memory I'll never forget (I'M SURE EITHER WILL BERNIE)His country, his judges, this refs,GOLDEN BOY event, he still COMPLAINED after the fight.By the way NO ONE WANTS to see "THE HIT AND HOLD BORE" BERNARD HOPKINS and thats reflected in the fact that he CAN'T draw 2000 fans.P.S AFDAMEK made the same 500,000 fighting JONATHAN BANKS.

Co-sign. I wanted to see this fight, but that deal wasn't cool.

Obviously Hopkins made 300k against Joppy for a reason. Adamek is an attraction. He's been in exciting fights, and he's the Cruiserweight Champion. Hopkins is completely in the wrong here if he thinks Adamek should be happy to get 500k.

Hopkins is 44 for crying out loud. Obviously is after 1 last payday.

Should be Hopkins and RJJ as a farewell bout. But RJJ won't stop running.

Well fighters normally make ridiculous offers when they realize that they don't want the fight at the last minute. I mean why would Bernard offer the cruiser weight champion of the world that less money even when hes putting his title on the line? As great as Hopkins is, i think hes backing down from the fight and is trying to cover it up by blaming Adamek for not being reasonable. IMO he wouldn't have beaten Adamek anyhow.

                  Adamek deserves more? For what?

According to whom, does Adamek deserves more? Hopkins makes a good point by referencing the Joppy fight. He made $300K for the Joppy fight and this was after his fight with Trinidad! Adamek doesnt have a Trinidad on his resume. This is a good opportunity for Adamek to fight against a legend who is willing to move up to his weight class to make a fight. I believe it is Adameks promoters that are preventing this fight. Hopkins is a world class star of the sport of boxing. He doesnt need Adamek at all. Adamek deserves whatever the average is of the amounts that he has made in his last 3 fights. I dont know what that number is but Im sure $500k is probably more than what he has made in one fight!

My solution is Hopkins move up to 201 and fight James Toney for a farewell fight! I think Hopkins would probably win, but it would be fun to hear the verbal jabs they take at each other through the pre-fight buildup! HILARIOUS stuff!

And who knows...maybe James Toney would actually put in the EXTRA hard work in the gym for a guy like Hopkins...

What is this no opponent stuff??? Am i the only person who wants to see Hopkins vs Chad Dawson????......He'll have plenty of motivation in the fact that beating Chad will 100% clean out the Light Heavyweight division for B-Hop and make him up unquestionably THE MAN at 175. Not to mention DAWSON BEAT ADAMEK!!!!!!!.....Hopkins always talks about he needs a threat to get motivated. Trust me Bernard, Chad Dawson will be a THREAT!!....And then you can bow out after beating one of the best young lions in the sport.
