Wrong. That offer was a boxing tactic 101. If you dont want to be in the ring with them, offer so low on money that it becomes a joke. Exactly what Hopkins did. Not one person in the boxing circles has said anything otherwise.
Okay Adamek is a bigger version of Pavlik. So Pavlik sucks now? Well then there goes some of "B-Hops" shine. Beating up another smaller fighter doesnt do much.
Adamek is around 35 pounds bigger then Pavlik. Hopkins wants no part of guys his size. That weak **** he gets away with wont fly when the tables are just slightly reversed.Comment

Oh ok, I guess you're involved in the negotiating process. Thanks for all your inside wisdom.
When did I say pavlik sucks? Pavlik is one of my favorite fighters. I simply meant he fights the same type of fight, they have similar styles.Okay Adamek is a bigger version of Pavlik. So Pavlik sucks now?
See above.Well then there goes some of "B-Hops" shine. Beating up another smaller fighter doesnt do much.
Ok when the fight gets announced to being signed I'll bet you all of your points hopkins wins.Adamek is around 35 pounds bigger then Pavlik. Hopkins wants no part of guys his size. That weak **** he gets away with wont fly when the tables are just slightly reversed.
BTW, never read into PRESS RELEASES. That IS part of negotating. how many times did we read the pacquiao hatton fight was off, or pacquiao de la hoya, etc.? A bunch of times. The reason is because one camp isn't happy with an offer, so they go to the media saying they want more or the fights off or whatever, the other camp then responds. Boxing 101.Comment

Oh yeah I admit, I never said he didn't but Hopkins grappled just as much in his fights and he ran quite a bit even against 2nd tier opposition like Howard Eastman, but let's forget the running, the talks and the records, this is one on one Hattons vs Hopkins at grappling. You can't claim Hopkins grapplins as skill and Hatton's grappling as ugliness. There is a doubdle standard here and that's why I made the thread.Comment
